Jeans fit over boots?

You have not seen my calves dear man -
Pretty much.. I had written a post last night about the RSPCA maybe not being available but it came out to sound more like criticism against them as an organisation, which wasn't my intention, so I deleted it. However I doubt the police would have simply not contacted them at all to ask for assistance..

Damn! You're lady sounds awesome Fair play to her! Hope to see you both at a future meet

This man Deserves a Medal! Gaw I used to work for a private mental health care company and working with the NHS was like pulling teeth because the people who are meant to be in charge are simply sucking money out of it rather than actually sorting it out! The amount of reshuffles in the admin / management throughout the last few years has been hellish. The funniest point is that even in reshuffling PCTs / CCGs etc they still cause chaos with no one knowing who the hell is meant to be in charge! However, the doctors, nurses and staff who have to deal with the real heavy matters every day are run into the ground day after day and Still are able to smile and stay wonderful. Anyway Was in a meeting so missed all the fun again Was being perfectly Civil Fozzie, just was at a lack for words for a moment! I was very surprised by your choice of words, given that you normally are so good at picking them! I think Throttled pretty much answered this one with the issue with the UKs finances being far closer to home than the EU.. If I take your hyperbolic statement at face value; I would much rather sink with the people I tried to help, than let them sink knowing at least I'm dry on my cushy pile of money. No. Being uneducated is being uneducated. Just because people put a mask of a certain political view over the top of not having the knowledge to back it up doesn't change the underlining point. If someone in this debate was trying to argue the side for In without knowing any of their own points then they will get pulled up on it, as you did later in the thread. But I am glad to see that you've approached every angle of this argument and now have a better over all view of the topic. I think everyone in this has so far been pretty open about their feelings, its a shame that you feel that you've been targeted in this and I'm hoping my replies will demonstrate that this is just a political debate over a very powerful issue. I'm actually pretty proud of everyone so far! This has been far more friendly than some of the real political debates that are on TV. Trump recently has been nothing short of Vile.. But that's another thread

You know in all this I hadn't really thought about the devastating effect it could have on our countries wonderful multiculturalism.. Living in Birmingham was honestly some of the best years of my life and I adore the place now (No jokes please ) simply because of a huge variety of people that studied there, worked there, lived there.. I can't even imagine the place without all these amenities you've mentioned.. ! Great point made

I am not a UKIP voter, in fact I am very much the other end of the graph.. However that comment... Jeez. I have some friends who voted UKIP.. However 90% of those didn't actually want to boot people out of the country, they were simply looking for a way to shake up the voting system and show that they have little or no faith in the two leading parties. There was a massive undercurrent through the last elections, that was people simply making a stand against the current electoral system and they chose UKIP as their way of doing that as it would get a reaction. I don't agree with this method of voting and I had some Wonderful debates with them at the time about it all that I look back really fondly on. But to say that they're all irrational bigots is a bit much..

The people that you're talking about a minority though! Therefore my point still stands that a Vast majority of the British public would likely not want harm to fall to other people living in the UK! However the divide then comes when you dig down into other issue and people start spiting up their priorities! ... I.E. Elections, This Debate etc etc Therefore, you are arguing a different side to Rant because, though yes you both want to keep people living well, you have massive differences in how you would go about this..
-
I'm not sure there's anyone that would argue the case for the people of the UK to not be safe though. So of course on that broad generalisation you're going to be aiming at the same point.. I'm pretty sure when the last elections happened everyone in the UK wanted, for instance, the NHS to keep helping sick people in the UK but that didn't mean they all chose the same party for that goal, one party wanted to achieve it by using X method to fix it and another party would use Y method. The difference in those two methods is what causes the divide in opinion, i.e. this debate. You believe the government will manage to keep everyone currently living in the UK happy and safe if we leave the EU. Other people think out government would not be able to do this. It therefore doesn't actually matter if we all agree we want people to live happily ever after, as the debate is about HOW to achieve that..

With my experience I wouldn't carry anyone who is more than a stone over my weight.. I have never had a problem with people lighter than me though as it just feel like a topbox etc. I spent soo much time with my best mate as my pillion as he's only 10st and I barely noticed. I will say though, knowing tips for being a 'good pillion' are crucial!!

I have to say that I don't know about a hydrogen-fuel cell or some of your other points. Mentioning that I knew you when you joined this profession would have been making it personal, so would mentioned the other people that we both know working for the same companies. Equally I remember other times you weren't as eco friendly, but like I said, I don't want this to be personal and am only using information you've given in this thread. Sorry that I don't remember those other conversations that you say I've had with you.. Even with them I think my point is still valid. I guess the only conciliation is you're not part of fracking.

I don't even have words for this PETA are a bunch of hypocritical asshats anyway. Yeah PETA the police would have ran over a frightened human. It is exactly the same. Well done. Go away. Aww man don't even get me started on them! I have money going out to various animal charities each month and my mother brought me up in a very animal friendly house but those callous, vile beasts don't have any right to claim they know what's best for animals...

I don't think this is getting personal at all. You're providing your side of things and people are disagreeing with it.. Simply debate really If we were attacking your personality / family etc then sure but people are only replying to information you've given in this thread.. P.S. If a mod thinks anything I've said is personal then of course, I will admit that I have overstepped a line and apologise, in that case feel free to mention it here or send me a PM! If that's the case then that wasn't my intention at all, just trying to have a mature debate..

At first reading I was mildly horrified at this but two things changed my mind.. The little one is that I know that road well, it's not a nice wide, long motorway.. It's a dual carridgeway, lined on one side by hills/towns and the other side is the sea. This road curves beautifully along the coast, which means I can see how this could be really dangerous.. The officers did attempt to catch the animal but were unable to. The main part of the story for me that negates all else is: There. Done. Shows over, all go home.

On what basis? Norway had agreements from the off with the EU to stay out but remain close, they didn't join then bail.. If we choose the leave, the EU is likely to go "Ok then, off you go.. Oh wait you still want some of the benefits that you had while with us? Hah.. That isn't how this works.." The idea that They would be breaching human rights when they had no option in whether we stay or go is laughable! It like choosing to leave a company but still wanting pension donations because you did your time, why should you miss out! I'm sorry.. Don't you work for an oil/gas company at the moment and have trained for, you last said, 10 years to be qualified in this field? Also didn't you, only a page or so ago, mention how you would happily leave the UK to join another Large oil/gas firm in Europe.. ? Fair enough being eco friendly but I genuinely don't understand how you can sway Soo much in one debate.. Specially when it includes one of your biggest life choices!

Wow! Honestly that was awesome Throttled I didn't know most of those dates and I certainly didn't know about the Nobel prize!

Ahh don't beat yourself up about it.. We have all done something like it.. I sat on my bike, took the side stand up, realised I had to get off the bike for something and went to put it back down on the (Now stowed) sidestand.. Thump goes me and bike! Hopefully you can get a beautiful new helmet and just treat this as a unexpected upgrade day

Jesus! That's some going Wrench! Sorry you're having such an unlucky, crappy day!

Rant, you wouldn't want to hop to America if Trump is President would you?

Ebay buyer f-mat09 backs out of sale, what can I do?
Gin replied to Throttled's topic in General Chat
I would advise to try these, better than not at all.. But at the same time good luck getting any constructive help off them! -
Mmm I did the whole "Coalition is complete crap, no ones getting what they want" but since seeing what a full Tory government is doing without the Lib Dems to reign them in slightly, I think that having a more split government with mass votes among the MPs would be a better way of doing things.. Edit: I didn't agree with further air attacks in Syria (Conversation for another thread) but I listening through all the house debates and was happy with the vote that happened in the end because of the way it had been carried out. I cannot say that I am fully knowledgable about these matters at all! I'm a young Lass who got really involved in one election and slightly less so the one before.. I think a vote for your area MP along side a vote for Prime minister would better suit. For instance the MP I voted for was labour, because he's had his seat for years and is a brilliant guy, very good at what he does. However, did this mean I wanted Miliband to lead the country? f**k no!
-
I have to admit, if I lived in Scotland I would have voted to leave.. The SNP have some great MPs in their party now who want change for the better. I'm not going to keep going as I don't want this thread to become Left vs Right, I like having good friends on here Though, on a slightly side ways note, if the UK decides to leave the EU and Trump gets into power over in great USA, sorry guys but I am bailing ship! Edit: Glorian, I completely agree with you actually, even though I didn't vote Tory and don't really agree with there policies.. However they won the majority and that's what the country has to accept as a repercussion of their own choices. I do think that the voting system at the moment is skewed but equally , would I have wanted 13% UKIP government? Nope. Not a chance in hell.

I'm with Joeman and Rant on this one.. A few years ago I was an Adamant 'out' and couldn't see how anyone would choose elsewise.. However with the government we have in at the moment, I look between them and the EU and suddenly being part of the clan doesn't seem like such a bad idea! If we had a different government in place then my choice may be different but I don't want to be left with just the Tories.. Just my 2 pence!
