  1. Will be off these two days and up for a ride out. I will be out all day for both days. No-idea where to yet but if anyone wants to join me or meet up somewhere then let me know. I can go anywhere within say 100 miles from Brighton. Anyone about?
  2. Yea mate. Had a brilliant ride over there, done about 120miles in total today, it was a cracking ride over there. Brighton-Portslade-Angmering-Arundel-Pulborough-Petworth-Midhurst-Petersfield then over towards Bishops Waltham before coming back on ourselves a bit to the car park! Superb Met some other bikers up there and got chatting. Had a good laugh with one regular who owns a black bandit, think he is an engineer on a minesweeper for the navy, anyhow, top bloke! Had a 'small' burger and a drink, admired the view then headed off again for another good ride back although shorter and via Bury Hill cafe. Will definately be doing that again it was absolutely superb today. Our next ride out will be on the 19th August so hopefully we will do it all again. CF83 if you want to join us on the back of one of the bikes you would be more than welcome.
  3. No, we will be up there around dinnertime I hope. We are all working early the next day (0400 ish) so we will be at home by 7pm!!
  4. Not sure to be honest. We are having to wait until my mate drops his GF off in the morning then heading off after that and he hasn't said what time yet. Weather permitting of course!
  5. Blimey, did he pass the aptitude tests and all that? Anyhow, CF83, spare seat going this Thursday morning, couple of us from work will be heading over to Portsdown Hill near Portsmouth if you want to come along. Let us know if you want to go.
  6. (Both South West and Southern (Fratton) are recruiting at the moment, they are on similar rates of pay. My lot are looking at recruiting at Brighton around December........) Anyhow, back on topic, I will be off and about tomorrow (Wed) and Thursday too if it is not raining too hard and anyone fancies a ride out. I was thinking of heading over towards Kent. Around Tenterden, down to Battle and back via the twisties through Heathfield and so on...
  7. I am a Train Driver! I know, I know, it's not the most glamorous of jobs but it pays over 41k a year just for sitting looking out of a window watching the world go by......
  8. I am in Brighton. I do odd shifts though. 4 day week and this means two days off every week. These are Mon/Tues, then the following week will be Wed/Thurs and the week after that will be Fri/Sat so basically every third week I get Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon/Tuesday off. Sundays are all over the place, we don't do one on/one off. Sundays are a good earner so they are always easy to get rid of if I want to. So my next two days off will be this Wed/Thursday with next week being Friday/Sat/Sunday then the Monday/Tuesday off, five days in total every third week. At the moment I have every long weekend booked away until the end of September. Can do the weekdays though, nowt planned for mid-week days off.
  9. Well I would have loved to have gone to this but alas I will be away, although not too far, just along the coast at Swanage/Corfe for the weekend (thurs to mon). I am working the Sunday the week before but can easily get rid of that job (cos it's worth about £250 so there will be someone to cover me at work) so I could meet up with someone the week before if there is a plan for that.
  10. Anyone want to meet up on Monday for little spin? Thinking of riding over towards Bodium from Brighton and maybe down to Battle/Hastings then back along the coast maybe.
  11. Hi guys. New here but live only about an hour away, I will check out my diary which is at work at the mo' might be my long weekend so good chance of getting over there. If stuck for somewhere to meet then easiest thing would be to meet at the footy ground there. (Fratton Park, well signposted) Big car park there and not too far from the sea front.
