  1. You would be more than welcome to join around 30 hairy-arsed train drivers for a night out on the lash!!! It will be in the 'Queens Head' in Kemptown, we all dress up as cowboys on our xmas night out so meet us in there at 8pm
  2. Can't do the 22nd, works night out I am afraid.
  3. Christmas soon so how about a forum drink? I suggest meeting up at a pub in Chichester, reason being it is central for those over Portsmouth/Southampton way and also from the Brighton area too. Really easy to get to by train and there are loads of trains running to get us home later on. Also handy if anyone wants to come down from London. How about an afternoon start as that makes it easier to get home on the train and there is no pressure to stay all night and risk missing the last train home!! I can do from Dec 19th to 23rd......
  4. Curse you lad! Nothing sounds like a nice Duke. People keep saying to me to take out the baffles on mine but I don't want too, I don't want it loud!! I just adore the low basssy tone to my Duke, it's just brilliant. As soon as I heard my bike when I went to buy it I just knew that was the one for me. I might buy oe of these for next summer, it's that or the 1100S Multistrada. Tough decision!!!
  5. Who is mentioning day to day use? This is the original question....; There are plenty of people who use sports bikes out there for their daily commute. Even the 1098's.
  6. Not biased or anything but........ from the Ducati site;
  7. You must get a pinlock system for it, I swear by mine completely. I have two visors and am often changing them over and that means, (obviously) I sometimes forget to change the pinlock insert over too so off I go and find the visor misting up. Can't believe people can ride around without one! especially with the winter coming up! I will buy a new insert from the bike show at the end of the month when I am there, I suggest you have a look around yourself for somehting like that.
  8. Same here. If it is raining in the morning I will not bother but if it's dry then I will nip out in the morning for a bacon buttie at 'The Hill'
  9. Ha, we are going to come up and follow you around on your lesson.....
  10. Thanks for the tip boot, nice one and big thanks to bigsis' for the link......... (Although this is where I got my Iridium visor from a few months ago!!) Doh!!
  11. Anyone know where I can buy just the inner bit for my Shoei? I have an Iridium visor and at the moment have to keep changing the inner pin-visor to whatever visor I am wearing that day. Today went for a ride and realised I had not changed the inner bit over which annoyed me somewhat.... So, Korbs, what have you done with a Pinlock????????
  12. Jesus Tim, that's some video. A must see to all new riders.
  13. Pics are nice, you both look quite happy. I once had a drunken night of debauchery on the old town beach in Benidorm once with a policewoman from Carlisle!!! What a night that was!
  14. You won't regret it at all. There is so much more too it, being not well right now I can't be bothered doing a full write up about it but it is the dogs bits!! I am going to the bike show in Decemnber, if I see one at a bargain price there do you want me to get you one?
  15. http://www.planet-knox.com/detail2.aspx?ID=63 A stunning bag and I highly recommend it to anyone. The spare visor holder velcro's in the bottom of the bag and the laptop bag is well padded too. It has a helmet bag that you put your helmet in then connect to the webbing on the outside of the bag. Loads of compartments in there it's a little cracker! It's just an awsome bag and it's arrival has cheered me up no-end as I am feeling quite poorly today
  16. Just go and buy some boots. I dropped my Duke on my right ankle a while ago, the ankle protector on the boot stopped my ankle being crushed by the engine. It hurt for weeks afterwards and I can't imagine what the damage would have been if I didn't have my boots on.
  17. Have been in touch with them and he says to turn up between 10am and 11. Might even be a coffee in it for us too!! Could meet at Bury Hill then shoot across from there? Thoughts?
  18. Ok, Sunday looks good for me at the moment. There is a bike workshop/showroom called 'Motori di Marino' at West Chiltington in West Sussex. It is owned by a man called 'Pietro di Marino'. He has an amazing collection of bike on display there and sometimes gets them out and lines them up outside. Anyhow, I am trying to get in touch with him and see if he will let us look at them if not on display. If not then we can go up to Boxhill and meet Jin and Skittles and anyone else who wants to meet up then we can go off somewhere else. I will let you know what goes on with Pietro as soon as I get a reply. Of course if anyone else has any ideas then please post here we can decide what to do nearer the time. http://www.dimarino.co.uk/
  19. Me too, dealt with them twice now and they are superb. As mentioned, the free Oxford Visor Bag is a bonus too.
  20. Some amazing roads in Wales I can't believe there are no rideouts sorted from you lot..
