Let's say 1030 at the Chalet.

As mentioned on another thread in the London forum, so I thought a new one here would be easier. Plan was to meet up at The Chalet at Cowfold then head over to Bury Hill then over to Portsdown Hill following the scenic route (Petworth-Midhurst-Petersfield) then down to Portsdown Hill. On Paper it is a good run, from The Chalet it is down to Upper Beeding then onto Steyning-Storrington-Amberly-Bury Hill. From there as above from Bury to Portsdown. Fingers crossed it is not raining!

Hi Ade, I was just thinking the same thing. Don't know the route too well so couldn't suggest somewhere to meet on the way.

Harry, should be ok for that. Why don't you want to do the whole thing, would have thought that would be an amazing thing to do! Route would be M23, M25 to the A40 then the A406 North Circular Road. Never done it before so don't know really!

Maybe not! Work are being complete twaaaaats and say they can't cover my job and are being arsey about it. I will keep asking if anyone will do it for me but like last week they are dicking me about so I may not be able to make it. If I do manage to get out of it then I will certainly be there. If not then there is always other times.

I am taking the Sunday off as the weather looks good. Want to go for a nice bimble somewhere so if anyone wants to meet up say at The Chalet, Cowfold, then I will look at being there for around 1030. I know a fantastic little place near Bodium for a spot of lunch to go to. See you there?

The 5th is a Sunday and I can go not available for that. Much rather be riding about than shifting people all over the place.......

Sounds good, will sort something out nearer the time. Heard the fastest rider done for speeding over the weekend was done for 140mph on the A24 I take it he won't be there next year then......

Sluggsy has mentioned riding up to Cowfold for brekkie then riding in via the B roads which is a good idea. I will be meeting him for that. Although there will be thousands of bikes again it won't be as hectic like it was riding down the A23. Riders will be coming from all over the south rather than all coming down the A23.

That is not a bad idea. Will join you for that.
