  1. Good luck Gayle, sounds like your having a right time of it out there.
  2. Sounds like a great day, nice one
  3. And I know a great location in northern france for a weekend if anyone fancies it. I took 10 bikers from another forum to it last summer and they loved it. Got a big barn for all the bikes too. Camping is in the field behind the châteaux. the hosts are brilliant too, one being an ex biker. Pics on my FB if anyone can see them.
  4. Park Farm. Good site, been there loads of times camping, has been upgraded recently and you can have fires there too. Would be an ideal place, as said, some good roads around there.
  5. I ride my bike every day except when it is snowing. Don't mind the rain, makes you think about your riding a lot more and improves your skills I think as you have to adjust a lot. Hate riding in the wind. Really do. Don't know how to handle wind on the bike, I just hate it. Everything else I don't mind. Got a nice top of the range car to play with when I want but I tend to use that just when I have the kids over. Bike all the way for me.
  6. That is just the start mate. Add in your type rating (£15000 for the 737 with Ryanair) uniform etc etc. It is something I looked at a few years ago. Plan was to sell the house to fund my training. Made a decision in August then Sept 11th happened and there was a slump in air travel world-wide so redundant pilots everywhere. Decided not to do it as it would have been hard to get a decent job at my age with so many experienced pilots around so scrapped it. Thanks Bin F***ing Laden. F**k it (to keep on topic)
  7. Ok, brilliant, look forward to seeing you both again then
  8. Will be at Roys sat afternoon. Will give Rennie his ciggis back then :D
  9. Hi mate and welcome to the forum. If you cant get any local riders to go out with as a group look for the Ace Cafe run down to Brighton! Group riding at it's extreme! 100.000 or so leave the Ace and head down to Brighton sea front for it's annual ride out! You tube it and see what it's like!
  10. I'll be there. See some of you Sat evening
  11. Who traveled the furthest to get there?
  12. Wales, mid-Wales. Sept.
