  1. Nell, think of something that would go down well at the rally.
  2. You bring your own gear! Or, as Vicki suggested, Jack's band could play so they willl have all the kit there.
  3. Dave. Suggest a few songs for you and Roy to do backing and you can do it! Nell, your in. suggest something to play.
  4. So I was thinking after the rally about next years one. How about getting a band together to play a few songs. Idea is get some interest on here, see who can play what, so looking for a bass player, guitarist (rhythm or lead.), keyboard, sax etc. I can drum and for the vocals I was thinking of whoever wants to sing can get up and sing with the band (like a 'live' karaoke). Thinking of around 7 tracks to cover which can be suggested here and decided on between us. For practise we can do this at home and meet up the night before the rally to go through the set for real. Vicky's son Jack has a band so maybe they could do a set first then our band have a go later, this means all the gear will be there with them. This is not intended to replace the Karaoke, I was thinking this could be done the night after (or before) to go with the disco. So, if you can play and plan on attending next years rally then stick your name down here what you can play and maybe suggest a few tracks for on the night. This has been ok'd with Vicki so there is no problem there. Over to you guys, what can you play and suggestions for songs. I'll start, add your name to the list. DP - Drummer

  7. Sue, I got the same one here. Visor is the easiest thing ever to do, the two clips at either side of the visor, you just pull them down at the same time and it pops out. You can also adjust the stiffness of the visor quite easily too. Find the manual, it explains everything in there. It's simple to do.

    job interview

Do your homework on the company, know who is at the top etc, state of their shares and that. Get a few questions ready for them, things like what are the opportunities for promotion etc etc. Just be yourself and don't lie to them about anything. Blue Sky thinking, they love all that bullshit so throw loads in like "Team player" and shit like that. Good Luck mate.
  9. Got this as a cover up, she designed it just for me as it covers the old shite up nicely. Going to get it finished off soon, she has loads of other stuff to go above it. http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e200/pprune/Photo-00081.jpg and this to celebrate Liverpool winning five European Cups in 2005 http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e200/pprune/Photo-0003aa.jpg

    Interesting Facts

There is a certain way of doing it Vicki. You need to split it in a certain way then lob it in the microwave. It will produce lots of plasma before blowing up! My interesting fact is rather topical. There is a post going around on FB saying that guys who wear the jeans low under their bums are "making themselves available to gay men" etc. Well, that is wrong. It originally came from a long time ago from the ghettos in NYC. Families were really poor (and still are) so clothes were 'handed down' to the younger members of the family. Eventually you will get one child wearing the jeans handed down to him that are way too big, hence the low-hanging around the arse. This symbolized how poor the family was and quickly became an instant statement of how poor your family was/are. This was picked up on a few years ago as a fashion statement which quickly caught on around the world and is now a fashion icon thing rather than an indication of how poor you are.
