  1. What bike do you have?
  2. Funny you say that, not sure if I told you but the day after we get bike Im heading off to Prague on my bike! might have to bring my bike gear with me if I cant find anywhere to store it!! Dont suppose you know anybody that lives near Heathrow that would let me store my bike and gear with them for a week do you? I dont mind paying a parking fee! What date are you going?????
  3. Hope you are better at riding the thing than taking pics of it!!!!!! Where you drunk when you took them?!?!?!
  4. Buy the blue and white one, go old school!!!!!! Buy then both?? Sat on my mates black 750 a while ago, stunning bike but as we walked up to it I couldn't tell if it was a Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda etc etc, it just looked like a black sports bike from a distance until we got closer. The blue and white one would stand out a bit more and give your bike a bit of individuality at least.
  5. 200 quid sounds about right for a helmet. The more you spend on one the better it will be. What price do value your head.......?
  6. Hi. You can buy a TMBF hoody, have a look in the shop section or get in touch with Vicki.
  7. I had exactly the same thing on my old Kawasaki. Went and bought a new battery and it was fine. Got rid of it after that though, for something newer and more reliable.
  8. Cobbz, I don't have a Facebook and it says I need to log-in to see the pic. Can you put it somewhere else, maybe the gallery on this site please.?
  9. Nice one Dan, cheers. I love it seeing people who you only know online for the first time. It always freaks me out as you sort of get an image in your head and then when you see them they are just not what you have imagined!!
  10. Ok, who is who, can someone do a L-R thing please........ http://www.themotorbikeforum.co.uk/download/file.php?id=4519

  12. Did anyone get any pictures?
  13. You lot take it easy. I have just been out and it is freeeeeeeeeezing here. A lot colder I believe in central parts so take TC's advice and don't rush anywhere. Looking forward to seeing the pics and I wish I was there!!
  14. Got to say the video quality is better than the driving quality!!
  15. I think he means on his shoulders, they look like bat wings!!!
  16. Haha! What is the name of that snooker player? :D
  17. The only time I won't go out is in the snow for obvious reasons. Me and the lads at work we all go out at least once a week on one of our days off. We go out in all weathers except perhaps persistent heavy rain. Had some amazing rides though the winter, crisp clean air, brilliant to be honest. So it's all year around for us.
  18. 'kin 'ell!!!!!!!!! thats some effort!! How many times did you stop etc. Is your bike a 1000 or a 600, I can't remember!
  19. When it is cold and windy I wear my thermals. A vest and leggins/long-johns. Nice and warm. I have only been really cold on the odd occasion, maybe once or twice wearing them but it was -5 the first time. Most of the time though I am ok with the thermals on and can highly recommend them. A lot cheaper than textiles too! Last year I started wearing a balaclava. Bought it at the NEC bike show for something like a fiver. I asked the feller for a Coldkillers one but he said these ones were as good although they were cheaper. This one I have is excellent at keeping the cold out and my head warm. It has like a bib at the front that protects the neck and keeps the neck warm too. Worn with a decent neck-tube it really works well. Can't remember the make of it but it has the words "Anti Freeze - Windproof Protection" around the edges of it. The difference is great again, a 'must have' bit of kit. Also have a look around for some thermal undergloves, these will help a lot on those long journeys. Thermal socks help too and I have also seen something like thermal knee sock things that you can get to keep the cold off your knees that look handy. Thermals under my leathers all the way for me in the winter!
  20. Sorry but I have to drop out of this. Too much going on here, looks like I have to find somewhere new to live pretty soon.
  21. Duplicate post
  22. Hi there. First off don't worry about looking silly on a 125 in leathers, nothing wrong with that at all. Now about buying them I would set aside as much as you possibly can to buy some decent ones. Look at about £150 for the trousers and the same for a jacket. Add on about £100 for boots and your good to go. You could get textiles stuff cheaper though but I personally prefer leathers. As for buying them ebay is the obvious choice but you can't try them on. Best bet is go to the NEC bike show coming up soon and haggle your kit from there. Go on the last day and see what you can get. Loads of people do this and get some incredible bargains.
