Not what I'd call sunny here! -
RTV sealant is designed to seal engine cases. There are setting and non-setting varieties. Non-setting is great for engines. I never had one leak on me.
-
Happy to be corrected. Was advised by my Yam dealer to use RTV instead of the extremely overly expensive YamaBond.

I think I'll pass -
yes but....................that's a kickstart 4 stroke, not a pullstart 2 stroke.
-
That ducati stuff is DucatiBond. Yamaha have one called...............YamaBond. It's about £70 a tube. It's an RTV gasket, like Wynn's Gasket Maker which costs about a tenner. Unless a gasket is specified as needing a sealant, it is not required.
-
if it has been sat for 2 years then it's quite possible the crank seals have dried out and perished or torn.
-
Use RTV gasket compound only where specified by the manufacturer, such as joining crankcase halves. Otherwise use the correct gasket.

I don't think it's that dr100, but good effort nelly. What is this thing you have wardy?
-
Don't fink so..............650 was a shaft drive. doubt the 750 would fit. Bandit 600 motor? Break the bike and buy something a bit newer?

So suggest someone else then. I wouldn't recommend Alpinestars. I never had a problem with Cissbury when I dealt with them.
-
Cissbury Leathers. took 2 seconds on google. They sell decent quality leathers, not Alpinestars fashionwear tat.

Decent pair of ladies biking trews...

GLF Accessories in Flitwick, Beds are clearing their remaining stock of MJK clothing to make room for new lines. They currently have MJK ladies jeans for £99. These are £300 plus jeans - a bargain. My 2 piece MJK suit has had 3 heavy crashes, protected me each time, and is still useable. They are first class leathers in the Crowtree bracket. -

SHARP - Helmet ratings published
flipper replied to Korben's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
The thing here is that professional racers are given a helmet to wear by the helmet manufacturer, so they wear it, whatever it is, and get paid for doing so. It is not an indication that it is the best helmet they could be wearing. The same is true of all their kit, as said before. yes that is true , but i think youll find that Rossi, Stoner, etc have a choice in who they sign sponsorship deals with. That was my point, if they wanted to be sponsored by DY-jung helmets they could easily arrange sponsorship deals , as these guys would snatch their hands off...assuming they could afford it. but strangely none of them choose to do deals with these manufacturers Money talks. -
you know, some pictures would help, as I cannot imagine what you are trying to describe.
-
well that's a superdream exhaust, so I guess not.
