does yours look like this? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/cb250n-standard-exhaust_W0QQitemZ320292806457QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item320292806457&_trkparms=72%3A984%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

if it is a 12bhp 125 then I'd doubt you'd get any noticeable extra...........inlet and exhaust valves are going to be tiny and they will still restrict engine power.
-
have you checked it with the carb on? while you have the carb off it might be worth taking the float bowl off and checking that the jets are all in place.
-
this is a restricted 4 stroke? it won't make any real difference.
-
when you let go of the throttle does the slide snap back down?
-
cos it was overadjusted before, I bet
-
forgive my ignorance - isn't it a 4 stroke?
-
poor earth, poor +ve connection at battery, starter relay or starter motor, or a knackered battery. or a bad starter relay.

you could get a Scott 2 piece for the same money. Far better quality than Alpinesatrs. -
Tell you what I'd do - buy an X ring chain and steel sprockets from wemoto or bandcexpress or ebay, take the bike and chain to the dealer, get the chain fitted, then come home and fit the sprockets myself.
-
maybe a power valve cable (if it has them) has broken.
-
The VM chain is the one to get. If that kit has a steel rear sprocket I'd say it's good value. In my experience SSS are cheap shit. http://www.bandcexpress.co.uk have the Tsubaki X ring chain with steel sprockets for the same sort of money as the ebay one. Or wemoto stock DID. for the carb balance I prefer a Morgan Carbtune. They're normally on ebay and are a doddle to use.

and swear alot - that helps too!

compression test on a 2 stroke don't mean a great deal. is this a problem that just happened out of the blue? is it possible the ignition timing is wrong?
