Hi Hoggs and mike_smith , trouble with some of those, they're in the middle of towns!! so as long as we don't have to do them all!! Because I like to be on the open road more But a good idea, there are a few outside towns or easy access, as this photo from 2018 shows.

Hi @Hoggs, thanks for organising this years Photo Rally, and i hope you do, do another one next year. Especially liked some off the Cafe's this year, apart from the fact, me and the wife ate at to many of them and look forward hopefully to next years mix And maybe bumping into some members somewhere? You only need to photograph the Cafes, not sample all the menus. I’ve only met 1 other member whilst doing the tags. Hi JRH, We never bumped into anyone doing these tags, was going to Pm you to meet up at The Touchdown café at Wellsbourne if you wanted, hence I left the tag's around Stratford, but the day we did them was on the spur of the moment, and late leaving Poole. Maybe next year, we might arrange something. But we did have a nice lunch there And as skyrider says, you got to sample the Menu's

I take it yours is a British RGV250 with I believe 60hp, or a Jap spec 45hp that's been derestricted? Most RGV's in UK are Jap spec's, And for home market I still believe they have 45hp limit, and the 400's had 59hp limit. I doubt if Kawasaki will bring a none 45hp to our shores, shame really because 250 and 400 are so much more fun in the twisties. Just read what Bianco2564 said, that is a shame, mind you can't fit my CBR400RR much now to many afternoon teas

Hi Arwen , the trouble you will have is the switchgear which will probably have a peg to locate in bars and probably won't sit on shims, and the throttle twistgrip, the inside will still be 1 inch and o/d won't take the 7/8 heated grips!!!, Why can't you use the Oxford heated grips for 1 inch bars, and just pull your bars back abit! Or buy 1 inch bars!!!, Otherwise you may have to buy a twistgrip and housing from the earlier Rebel to fit and by the time you have changed the bars and twistgrip shim's etc going to cost abit, just find a set of 1 inch bar's .

If the bike was running fine before you serviced it, then why would the Head Gasket go! I would seriously get a second opinion. I've ridden and worked on bikes all my life and rarely do you see a jap bike with Head Gasket issues. How many miles has this 600 done! But seriously I would get someone like a main dealer to check it, it might be expensive at first, but will save you a lot in the long run.

Hi noctrl , I've been using Vfr 800 for year's now, and some winter's mine play up, I just keep spraying the inside of the switch with electrical spray, and that normally sorts it out. Never replaced the relay.

Hi Bender , lot's of people fall asleep especially at the wheel of car's. Me I always ridden bikes all my working life, took my car test at 58, after i retired, brought my first car this year at 65, worked as a courier for 2 years in the 80's did on average 48000 miles a year. As a engineer rest of working life average between 28000 - 34000 miles a year, never fell asleep on bike. Since learning to drive I find if I'm in slow traffic on hot days I drift off, 3 time's now I've hit the kerb, hence I still ride more than I drive, last year 25500 on bike , car 5000 and that includes wife's mileage. Something I not proud of, but car's are bloody boring

Hi Sir Stanley Hubris as you say you just got back into bikes after 10 years, so yes using muscles not normally used! I've ridden bikes all my life, I limit my mileage to around 400 - 500 with the missus, but on my own around 800 a day, but yes depends on circumstances, last week we were on Holiday near Leyburn, and did a run down to Barrow in Furness, then up coast to Keswick and back to Leyburn it was fine, 2 days later did Halifax, greater Manchester and near Blackpool same mileage but more Town work, Knackered and it was only 235 miles!! Did 1700 miles in 7 days. My advice just keep riding, and It will become easier with time

Normally you would just adjust the damping up, there's normally a screw and that adjust the damping, And not the spring!!! I would find the damping screw and put a turn on that towards heavy , making a note of how much you turn it, so you can turn back for solo use.
