Forget it nothing you can do, maybe examiner spotted him before you moved off, anywho you can't make better of it, put it down to bad luck and pass next time. -

Potential for a chemical fire with batteries I presume -
Emergency vehicles and busses and anything else wide enough, to go either side of them, I prefer them to full width, never had an issue. Always watching for a car coming to my side trying to straddle it though.

The top of the tyre often faces the sky, unless cornering where it will point at the hedgerow

Front and rear have different requirements, front handles braking rear gives traction, tyres are marked to do the best depending on if it's on front or rear, hence 2 arrows if it's a size that can be used either end

They've randomly done it for years, not just with bikes

DVLA couldn't care less about what you own or ride, there are no checks for what use your license has, as long as they've not removed it by accident and you didn't notice your fine. Take a pic of your licence if you ever send it off, they do make errors.
