This is the first year that I haven't got a poppy. Instead I got one of those wristband things...I'm forever losing or breaking the poppy so I thought I'd try something else this year. The proceeds go to the same place so it works for me

I know how that is, I'm just waiting until I drop to 13st dead on (ish) before I get new clothes.

Well done techno (slow reply I know ) I found another great thing about losing weight... My old leather jacket that got too small now fits..so extra jacket. My less old one, that is now slightly too big, is now an awesome winter jacket as I have room to fit a thick jumper under it

I'm pretty sure, that Jobs would be happy with people makign jokes. If you aren;t aware he was quite a practical joker himself. Had I gone straight in with the joke without mentioning other bits first then you'd know it was just for that..however it wasn't. Fair enough though I'll remove the joke.

I too am no fan of Apple and in particular Steve Jobs' ethos. However, as mentioned above, he did bring tablet computing to the masses, before it had never taken off but now? It's like a landslide, the new must have item! The iPhone also brought smartphones to all..sure they'd existed for years previously, but once the iPhone came out, everyone wanted one, and so the competition got better Jobs was certainly a character and the world is a much emptier place without him.. -edit to remove the joke at the end, I guess not everyone has the same sense of humour.

I'm told my ideal weight would be 12 and a half stone, but I'd look like a bloody skeleton with my build, so my aim has been 13 and a half..may try and get to just 13 though

As the other thread is a few pages long, and as I was far too lazy to hunt around for it, I have decided to make a part 2 thread, if that's okay by the mods? Anyway I weighed myself today, clothes on just to see what I was, and it said 14 stone 3...Ohh thinks I, that means I have lost weight, so had to strip down for a proper weigh.. 13 Stone 11..Sweet, finally broken the 14 stone mark, and only 4 pounds to my target weight :D That put me in a great mood!

The Virago lives again! I was correct in my original theory...it was the choked jammed on. I replaced the choke cable and unjammed it, but it still had issues..was rather annoyed. Then I had a brainwave, it's been running rich for a while due to choke jam...so plugs might be fouled. Pulled them out and sure enough, black as the ace of spades. New ones in today and she lives again! Of course I hadn't cleaned the old ones properly before anyway or I might have realised, now I know how to do it right if it happens again I can clean them up...or just insert the spares I got today as I bought 4 pplus so I would have a spare set heh. Anyway I am happy again as I was fed up of cycling to work!

Would an air leak cause it to use a lot more fuel than normal too, and stink of petrol? I'll probably have to get it fixed at a garage anyway, I really haven't a clue and too busy with work and moving house to fix myself even if I did. Just hope I don't get raped on the fee, as I'm about broke lol

Fiddling around, I noticed that if I squeezed the pipe that goes from the fuel pump to the inlet rubbers the bike runs fine...so sounds like an overfuelling issue? Could it be a knackered fuel pump?
