  1. Definitely being sensible, I did exactly the same when I lived in Leicester, I had an old nail of a bike for going to work due to the amount of vehicle crime where I worked at that time. Even now when I go anywhere I'm really picky about where I go and always consider where I have to leave my bike parked, secure parking, even if its further away than I want to be will alway be given first consideration. I agree with bikerdad, its a disgrace that in this day and age we have to do things such as this to protect what we own and cherish, due to the light fingered scum on the streets, who have probably never done a stroke of work in their scroty little lives, they seem to think that if they haven't got it or can't afford it then they have the right to just take it!
  2. Yer I agree, would love to see it happen down in London for real though, would love to see the look on the little shits face!

  4. I use Abus detecto, not the cheapest but a good disc alarm, I don't seem to get plagued by false alarms with it either. https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/434867
  5. First rate bike, nice one
  6. Wish.com app has a lot of...'alternative' versions of these for around £30-40. Wasn't sure about the quality, and haven't been able to compare to a genuine one, but I've been happy with mine so far. Seems well made, strong, the straps are solid. The only thing is, I'm not sure if it's waterproof at all because it came with a waterproof cover to go over the top and because I carry my laptop in it, there's no way I'm chancing it to find out. Mine is OK in light showers, caught out in a heavy downpour once on the M6, contents stayed dry although I'd prefer to use a cover if regularly exposed to heavy rain, I don't think many back packs are 100% waterproof 100% of the time
  7. That really is SH 1 T, They've got to be having a laugh!
  8. I use Dainese D-Mac, comfortable, streamlined and waterproof https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/243757

  21. Cheers Dynax, never even though of this .... Do you leave these on or just put them on when checking tyre pressures? Just use them when checking otherwise it will throw out the balance of the wheel Cheers Dynax
  22. Congrats on the new bike Any registered mechanic can service the bike so long as genuine parts are used and service schedule is followed, any warranty work will have to be carried out by main dealer
  23. @manxie49 If Dynax's suggestion is any good, I can post you a spare one I've got that I don't use. PM if you want it. Thanks Smithers, offer greatly appreciated, my brother is having a look to see if he has one in the garage, I'll see what he's got first
  24. Cheers Dynax, never even though of this .... Do you leave these on or just put them on when checking tyre pressures?
  25. Cheers Smithers, just trying to find a tyre pressure gauge that I can use on the front wheel valve, about enough room for a five year olds hands!
