1. Mine was a Honda CX500, bought for £400, ex despatch riders bike, big V Twin thumper, got me through a couple of crappy winters that bike, the day I bought it I nearly fell of on my way home, riding down Welford Road in Leicester, first ever shaft driven bike, went down the gearbox to fast and locked the back wheel! Lesson learnt.
2. This was sent to me by a friend who wants to circulate it to as many people as possible, two women caught on the 14th of November stealing a charity tin for the poppy appeal, hopefully someone somewhere will be able to identify them, report them and get them their just desert Thanks. https://youtu.be/Qx872JENYoo
3. Uneducated response .... Boomers were born between 1946 and 1964 that aint me pal and as an after note .... the video is just a bit of fun!
4. S1HT! And people say the TT is bad
5. Yamaha DT125 although I did have an old Honda SS50 that I learnt to ride on in a field .... Lost count of the amount of times I fell of when learning and it still kept going
6. Doesn't look the best for road racing

Chain Oil

I use Motul chain paste, seems to do the job pretty well, just don't over apply it and make sure the chain is clean.
11. I agree with Stu, good advice
12. Light fingered S--t heads! Feel for you mate, I would seriously look for secure parking, garage or the like, as you say, it doesn't matter how many locks you have, doesn't make a difference anymore. Secure structure such as a garage is best.
13. Has anyone ever fitted lighted chain adjuster kit to their bike, if so what do they think of it?

Oops

Fairplay to you for posting it, I think I would have kept that one quiet ..... brilliant
16. I've always loved the Fireblade, I use to have a 900RRW, awesome bike that just seems to get better.
17. No I went to our local church who do a memorial service
18. This is personal for me, posted in remembrance of all who sacrificed their lives for our country, but especially two friends and colleagues who never got to come home to loved ones, muckers who'll never be forgotten ....
19. Another thumbs up for paraffin or household heating oil
20. According to Money saving expert, 56% of appeals are successful and I have a chance because there was no signage to show that there was no parking at the place I parked, it was a first offence and I made an honest mistake. Good luck mate I hope you win your appeal
21. I tried fighting a parking ticket myself once, parked my bike in spaces marked as "cycle parking" I tried arguing that I was parking a motor - cycle, and the sign did not differentiate between powered and unpowered. I didn't get anywhere with it and just caused myself a load of stress, the funny thing was though that they changed the sign to read "pedal cycles only"! I would personally just bite the bullet and pay up, not many tickets get overthrown, or don't seem to be anyway.

23. I see that SEAT are getting in on the act with a new e scooter, I personally find electric bikes creepy .... No Noise .... Maybe useful for the inner city commute, at 6'1" though I can't ever see myself riding one! https://www.msn.com/en-gb/cars/news/seat-to-launch-electric-scooter-as-urban-mobility-vehicle/ar-AAJXvDS?li=AAnZ9Ug
24. Definite No-no, sure fire way to points and fine, plus riding pillion with an inexperienced rider could be pretty hazardous to health, put him under a lot of pressure and after 50yrs of riding leave you very much "out of sorts" not being able to control any potential problems.
