corporations believe consultants is a higher level of intelligence, but really just some mofo who is paid more yet the company has no idea what they do but "need them" to fill the profile of a job role that they "dont want full time" but keep them full time cos upper management and HR have no idea wft they are doing. thats my experience of 99% of it..
if you get the chance, go for it cos you haven't anything to lose but to gain from the incompetent ar*eholes running the show.
OY, I thought you were describing me there for a minute

That's a very confusing picture, looks like a border control with altitude, and I'm guessing it's not on the M74....
What's going on then?
Its the Toll at the top of the Timmelsjoch, between Austria and Italy, a fantastic road, part of my planned trip (hopefully)
I should add its also the motorcycle museum too

Have you tried MyRouteApp? You can do all that with the free version. In fact you can transfer the gpx file to your Garmin device without using basecamp at all.I will give it a go thanks

I plan routes/trips with Calimoto, save them as GPX files, then import to Basecamp then send to the Garmin XT.

Well the dealer has come up trumps, new LCD replacement screen has arrived. Bike gone in today for an intermittent fault on the cruise control. Hopefully both will get sorted (however its KTM, so will be fookin busy )

Its the BBC, another garbage report that doesn't even resemble being newsworthy.

I read many a thread that insurance is an issue for the Z1000's, but we all know the insurance (ripoff) game varies for many reasons. I'm also not really looking for a touring bike, but more something a little naughty for those sunny Sunday ride outs.
Re the MV/Tiger, I've got my tracer 700 for day to day and want something not so upright, not that I'm looking for a hunched over sports bike either.
@Pie man, the F900R is an accomplished bike with many bells and whistles. This bike had every box ticked when they ordered it as a demo ride, the seat although on the firm side wasn't an issue for the hour+ that I was out on it, national speed limit into country lanes/B roads, into town then back to the dealers. I did find the pegs a little on the high side and did cramp up a little towards the end of the ride, but nothing that a quick stand up didn't fix. The bike had the D-ESA suspension and I would put it on par with the 765RS for a firmer ride.
Compared to some of the others I have tested, I just found it missing that magical something that I'm looking for. The punch that both the Triumph and Yam triples give whilst not having to be up and the high end of the rev range give them the edge over the BMW. The only main thing the F900's have that could win is they have a 0% finance deal going at present.
@Fish Brilliant. I really like the bike, I thought exactly as you say, its missing something. Having said that, I'm still thinking about it, I have the KTM 890 and that engine is wicked.

Another weekend, another testride. This time its a BMW F900R, given up trying to arrange an Aprilia test at this point. So far the list had been MT10, 765RS, MT09SP and XSR900. Tempted to get a ride on a Kwack Z900RS but really want to get something sorted before the bank holiday weekend.
I would be interested in What you think of the F900R I Nearly Bought One.

Me? They're car washers, there aren't any qualifications. They do a good job on my car where the ramifications of a scratch are higher.
I hope the detergent they use doesn't react with the Ali

Some people have no issues with them. Unfortunately, my experience with Oxford Clothing hasn't been great. I have sent a Mondial Jacket and trousers back twice before, I hope you have a better experience and yours are what Oxford Claim to be.
I actually like the Mondial Jacket and Trousers, but they're not waterproof like Oxford Claim.

ME. I AM A KNOB, for thinking my Oxford Rainseal over trousers would keep me dry during my commute home. Why I don't listen to myself is beyond belief . I know they are Sh*te, I've always commented on here how sh*te they are, but no, oh no. I woke up to see frost on the car windscreen, but the sun was shining . Weather forecast saying fine and dry this morning but rain closing in, in the afternoon. I'm working in the office today, so its on with the Rukka Jacket, Bull-it Jeans, casual boots and the Keis gloves. I thought I would put the over trousers in the rucksack just in case the rain does close in, it might only be a gentle shower . Its only a 40 min commute, mainly on Motorway and A580, but boy did it rain, and the spray from all the other traffic made for a good soaking (bearing in mind, I had only cleaned the bike on Sunday ). Got home, torso was dry as a bone, feet dry as a bone, hands dry and warm. crotch totally wet through. Pleased to say the Oxford Rainseal Trousers are now in the bin, shortly to be accompanied by the over Jacket. something I should have done a long time ago. Rant over

After reading many of the ride reports, it reads like you do have a good time. Its a great area that I have been many times, either staying in Klotten or Kyllburg and more recently in Dasburg.
Its a good area to play and especially for newbies, not too crowded and great roads.

I have been using that very bag for six months, I can't fault it. To make things a little more solid I placed a washing up bowl inside which makes getting access to things a bit easier, I just slide the bowl outwards. I have not had any water ingress so far.
Brilliant. I like it

We refurbished our offices a couple of years ago, all the toilets are for the use of anyone, there is no male/female/penguins or what ever you want to be known by toilets, they are just toilets.
Each toilet was like a personal changing room, no cubicles. Large in size with plenty of room to get changed. They cost a fortune, but well worth it.
