  1. Take is slow to the shop if you're not confident. Nothing feels worst than riding whilst anxious
  2. Just saw this random video today, looks crazy random and it looked like it was purely luck that he got out of it twice. Any tips for what to do in this situation or is it just mainly luck? EDIT: looked like he couldve literally died in both tank slaps
  3. Has anyone bought either of these cameras and have any feedback? They're both down on discount with the 8 being only 40 quid more expensive so I'm not sure which one to purchase. Currently using the Akasaso V50 but it doesnt support super-wide view so im looking to upgrade
  4. Yea i ill try that tomorrow, lockdown made me a little stupid
  5. Yes it is I, the rookie asking again. I just swapped the handlebars which requires removing the blinker/headlamp/horn unit. There were two wires that i removed and plugged back in. Attached the thing back on and yes it does light up yellow but it just stays like that.. what did i do wrong? EDIT: my front headlight unit is removed which includes the front indicators, could this be the reason?
  6. Oh boy, ive just rebuilt my forks for the first time and thought that was hard
  7. Perhaps not but i made the mistake of ordering it already
  8. I just use my phone with google maps. Although i make sure i download the area before just in case theres no internet connection.
  9. I've been reparing my front forks a lot lately and to access the pinch bolts I need to remove the front headlights and brackets (stupid design i know). Ive accidentally dropped a bolt somewhere in my bike and now i cant re-attach the front headlight bracket and delivery takes 2 weeks. So.. can i actually ride in the DAY TIME without front headlights and blinkers if they are totally removed from the bike? (I ride to buy groceries as i dont have a car)
  10. Get some mods on it e.g handlebars, grips, air filters etc..
  11. No i found them on ebay, Renthals are even more expensive than OEM Well you've obviously got your doubts . What are you planning on doing with these bars , stunt work ? Its a small bike thats used for commuting, nothing crazy. Although i think ill just go buy the oem ones just to steer clear of any doubts

  13. Actually not that badly bent, can you actually bend handlehars back without snapping?
  14. So my handlebars are bent because of a hit and run. Genuine honda handlebars would cost me 60 quid but i can cop an aftermarket for around £20. Has anyone used non-genuine handlebars before and was it okay? (Aka did it snap when you hit a pothole ) Thanks!
  15. Thanks, was easier than i thought
  16. This is one of the wires that connect to the front dash, I'm not sure how to remove it? Thanks for the help
  17. I managed to push back the pistons today but when i put everything back together the front brakes drag? I torqued everthing back together before pressing the brakes, did i do something wrong?
  18. I'm still a novice with diy maintenance, by the pistons do you guys mean the part i circled with yellow stains on? And i should remove the pads as well i believe?
  19. Yep it happened, i was removing my front wheel when i accidentally hit my head on the brake lever when standin up. Now the brakes wont fit the disc and im not sure what to do next, please send help
  20. Woke up, got dressed, ready for a sunny commute thennn reality hit. Someone hit my bike in a parking lot, didn't leave a note now im left stranded walking to work after bending my wheel and handlebars & possible frame. Do you notify your insurance even when its not covered under third party? Do you report the police? What do u do??? I dont want my insurance to increase after SOMEONE HITTING MY BIKE IN A PARKING LOT!! Thank you
  21. I agree . When I burned the clutch on the ER5 riding up the Devil's Staircase and getting it wrong on the hairpins , I couldn't actually detect any burning smells . After limping home a hundred miles with hardly any clutch I still didn't smell anything . When I opened it up , however , it was a different matter . I was greeted with a strong smell of burned clutch . I wonder if all our friend is smelling is the distinctive aroma of new oil wafting out of the crankcase breather . This IS something I have noticed in the past . If anyone has ridden past Port Talbot on the M4 they will know exactly what smell I'm referring to . I'm guessing it has to be some burnt oil smell that dripped onto tue exhaust or some dirt/grime burning off like Stu suggested as the smell is fading away after a wash. False alarm I guess!
  22. Recently changed from a 5W-30 to a 10W40 oil, could possibly be due to that Why would you be using 5W-30 ? I'm pretty sure that both of your bikes should be running on 10W-40 . Im referring to the 125, i had spare 5w30 so wanted to use the rest of it. Its not my main bike so i was a little lazy

  24. Quite recently when the weather is becoming colder, I've been noticing a lot of burnt clutch smell from slightly hard pulls from start. Ive done this plenty of times before but have only been noticing the smell very recently. Is it because of the colder weather or could there be other potential issues?
