  1. Hello and welcome. I assume that you mean apply some copper slip to the rear of the pads, greasing the pads is probably not a good idea. Get a Haynes manual for your bike and follow the instructions. It would help if you specified where you live so someone here can provide further help.
  2. what is the context?
  3. What coms system do they use? Any good for music? I use the SC1 in my C4 and it connects to my iPhone and up to 2 or 3 other devices, can't remember exact number. I have tested the music playback on the iPhone and it works very well but tend to use more for sat nav instructions and phone calls, both of which are crystal clear even at speed. Not that I get many calls as I tend to dissuade people calling me when I'm on the bike.
  4. Great weekend for petrolheads
  5. Me too
  6. SCHUBERTH C3 or C4 also worth a look if you want a flip lid. The integrated comms are brilliant.
  7. You could use the number of rats killed as the main selection criteria
  8. Most bike shops would have installed the pin lock for you and explained how to look after it or at least asked you if you were familiar with how it worked. I expect the helmet came with the pins but not the actual pin lock visor. Helmet model and size should be on the helmet somewhere but it might be in very small font, my SCHUBERTH ones use minuscule fonts.
  9. Well done. Now on to the next stage. Enjoy.

  18. Hello and welcome. Sorry I cannot help with bike.
  19. Sell the rights to Hollywood. Or perhaps it would be suitable for an Ealing comedy.
  20. Hi, if you want to leave the helmet with the bike I would suggest a hard case to put it in secured to the bike. The other school of thought is that if the bike is stolen in such an instance then you lose bike and helmet and case etc so take the helmet with you wherever you go. Personally I leave my helmet in the top box on my bike at work in the secure car park. But if I was ever to go somewhere like London, highly unlikely, I'd put up with the inconvenience and take the helmet with me.
  21. Hello and welcome, As above, do the DAS and go straight to the A licence to enable you to ride any bike. You won't regret it.
