  4. That's why it is always better to clean and lube the chain after a decent run to get it nice and warm, and once lubed leave it overnight to soak in.

  13. So your saying well over 2000 miles might be pushing it? the poor chain must be gasping for some lube.
  14. The joints are very simple and shown by a black dot. Where the wire crosses another there is no black dot. Looks fairly straightforward, best if you can copy the existing one.
  15. Sounds good, you might put a battery conditioner on if left for long periods with alarm on.
  16. Triumph recommend chain lube every 200 miles, more often if riding in difficult conditions. I use the trip 2 to remind me and reset it after every lube/check. Tyres should be checked before every ride. You never know when you are going to pick up a nail.

  18. went over to J&S and bought a Frank Thomas mesh jacket. It doesn't have a liner but in this weather it is perfect.

  22. hello & welcome. You should be able to get spare keys from dealer, as long as you have the appropriate paperwork.
