2. Oh well! I can finish grading the MSc dissertations that I didn’t complete when the forum was down for the upgrade. I was looking forward to meeting you all but another time.
3. Now game stew - that’s a good idea.
4. Now needs to painted to match the other bit. Are they going to do that as well?

7. Rabbit is also very tasty but has lots of little bones. The fur makes good hats.
8. especially the Bambi variety.
9. Hello and welcome. Any ride outs would entirely depend on where you are located. It would be helpful to put your general location in the user CP.

11. J&S are good and very helpful
12. And the police use a helicopter on busy biker days, like virtually every weekend in the summer.
13. On the Cat and Fiddle the average speed cameras point towards the rear of your bike so get the number plate. I also noticed several on the M1 pointing at the rear of the vehicle not at the front.
14. I love my SCHUBERTH C4 and M1 helmets. Fit very well and integrated communications so no ugly wart on the side of the helmet creating wind noise etc.
15. ^^^^^ as above. Don't buy your first helmet on line.
16. Hi jeny88 and welcome to the forum. On the test you need to be very careful of changes in speed limits particularly where it goes from 30 to 20 mph. Ideally you need to keep to the speed posted or maybe 1 mph below. Do not exceed the speed limit. In 30 and 40 mph you might get away with a mile or two over the limit as long as it is not for long. You need to demonstrate that you are observant and can maintain progress at the speed limit specified. Hope this helps and good luck.
17. Completely agree. You don't DRIVE a motorbike, you RIDE one. You don't call Marquez, Rossi etc a motorbike driver!! So just to clear up, do you: Drive a car Ride a Bike And float a boat? Actually you navigate a boat
18. same thing round here in the Peak District. Though some of the roads have seen so many motorcycle casualties I'm not surprised by the speed limits and average speed cameras.
19. Mod1 is a test to demonstrate manoeuvrings in an enclosed space, eg a car park. Mod2 is the road riding test. Both done with examiner watching. Your friend has to do both to get an A1 licence. In addition the theory test needs to be passed before the practical tests. The CBT needs to be done first.
20. Your friend needs to do CBT, theory test an practical test (mod 1 and mod 2) to get A1 licence to ride up to 125cc. If Test is taken on an automatic bike the licence will be restricted to such. The A1 licence allows you to take pillion and use motorway.
21. Slowlycatchymonkey might have something that would suit and is in the west country area.
22. Life treats one to these little irony’s sometimes
23. Sounds like it needs an italian tuneup
24. In terms of security it depends on where you are. But a minimum of a disk lock would be worth getting. If you are in London best to start praying.
