Marques and dovii caused that imo. Dovii went a little wide, marques made it fit and forced dovii out and to slow forcing Lorenzo to hit the brakes.... If dovii hadn't have f**ked up that would have been a fantastic race.

I've had three tank slappers now, usually 2nd-3rd at 15k rpm clutch less shifts... I've been riding for 11 years and never had a problem before on 990 superdukes, old r1's and blades. I've done 600 miles now, most riding with 1k superbikes lately, hit the wrong bump at the wrong angle during a shift and it gets real sketchy. That's gripping the bars loosely and using the easy grips on the tank.

I love the rear of the 2019 but that front is a bit ugly to me Get her a steering damper dude, they desperately need one if she pushes on at all. They are the same bike underneath, just with a quickshifter and updated fairing. Down on power a little too due to euro 5 emissions iirc. What do you ride?

I am loving this bike but... You seriously need a steering damper, I've had two minor and then Thursday a massive high speed one... I know the die hard track fans of the zx6r asked Kawasaki not to bother but the geometry is so sharp that being a little tight on the bars like most road riders can be can cause huge slappers when you push on a bit lol. Usually max rpm shifts coupled with slight bumps.

I came off an R1 at 60mph round a bend and my spada predator jacket was excellent. I've used leather repair and it's good as new other than the spada badges being scratched. It's lovely flexible leather too, sooo underated imho.

Doesn't stop the head nod tho... Sounds like my Suzuki Jimny, terrifying at anything over 60 haha, that's why I bought it tho tbh... To slow me down, then I bought a ninja doh.
