1. Ha I thought you were all pontificating about photography effects
2. I’m wondering if there’s some vested interest going on here. Maybe trash talk the competition? Show me your sources that they’re dangerous. It’s certainly not my experience. I found the company friendly and responsive. Like different tyres? Ok. Want longer mudguards- no problem. Twisted some stuff in an off- don’t worry, we’ve all done it. £17 BARGAIN Don’t know about tyre pressures? Ok let us explain. Fuel came out the filler cap when I came off (second time), it was frightening, is supposed to happen? Yes and no, it vents through the cap and the bike was layed on its side. Pretty straight forward and accessible.
3. Yep had a helmet salesman tell me the same thing. 5 years is a selling thing, his helmet is currently 10 years old and he can choose what he wants without paying.
4. And by the way, "feet" are the things on the ends of your legs. "Feats" are achievements like trolling on several fora at once........ Naughty
5. I like alcohol and dont feel theres any shame in saying so, I sometimes go for long periods without bothering with it just because I dont fancy it but I also think theres no moral high ground to be had by being tee total- although some tee totallers try and make you feel like there is. Im not fussed what other people do drinking wise but for me theres no substitute for a good glass of wine with food...... or beer with television or cider with a ploughmans or sherry at christmas or a bloody mary at breakfast or champagne having a bath or a cocktail in a good hotel or gin at... anytime! Ill PM my address and will critique your wine for you completely free of charge- you’re welcome.
6. asharin sorry your having a hard time, mentally unbalanced people are always a pain in the wotnot male or female thats why I operate a no nutter policy, quirky, eccentric, temporarily compromised or off the wall is fine by me anything more- bog off. Not that you have that luxury when she has your daughter. Hope you enjoy you time together. Six30 Your profound insights really warm my heart ❣
7. My school is starting to sound more than a little lame. I don’t think the boy standing at the school bus pick up point with one strap of his bag flapping about getting caught in the coach wheel counts......... fill in the rest yourselves cos we were accidentally monumentally stupid not deliberately
8. Look at him! Look at Jeff Wode! His head must weigh pounds on its own. Imagine the size of his balls. Imagine getting into a fight with the f**ker. Please, I don't feel good.
9. Nope had no problems with leaking other than the time I came off doing a u turn on a gravel car park and you can’t blame a bike that vents through the filler cap for leaking when lying on its side and past the capacity. Youre not overfilling it are you?
10. Ask the dealer or on the triumph forum they might have a decent centre stand answer.
11. Damn pictures as well? Okies wont get near my beloved til end next week now though Yep greenhouse heaters, small ones (2 to be presice) under the beauty. Excessive? When it comes to bikey theres no such thing
12. Nice work Thanks for the explanation.
13. basically the spinning things at bottom with the swirly rods on I want to move to the top Oh to give more print room?
14. “Have also come up with an idea for inverting the Z axis which will give me a higher print area as only got 300mm lead screw motors plus lose a lot of that with height of X carriage, not seen anyone do that with this build before so either a new idea or it won't work, but won't know until I try it.” Allow me to translate “fla fla flaaa doo doo di di da ba ta foo foo” That’s how much I understood I jest I take the mickey whilst bowing at the alter who knows what the hell that means and can make it happen
15. Sorry guys. Been having to do proper flat out work the last couple of days and probably beginning of next week too It’s done, took about 30 seconds and that includes finding the right size drill bit so well worth all the all the posts Anyway nicely secure now and whilst I was there with the drill sured up up the greenhouse heaters on some solid bits of wood so alls good- Saul Goodman Took the cordless drill cos it’s weedier than the beast I bought to get through our walls (my father in law thought it was a good idea to add cement to the render and no-one can even knock a nail into it now) so it gently chewed off the extra plastic like a lathe. Looks great. Very happy. Thanks for the help
16. Nope, immediately after saying “right I’m off to do the job” a boatload of real work came in, I ran out without a coat and (don’t tell six this bit) big girls blouse I am got so cold by the time I finally finished decided a hot shower n cup of tea and a nice biscuit was a better option Got to Halfords for the plate screws though so tomorrow the plate will comply or die
17. Ooo yes I could ask a man then in a year or so’s time give up waiting and do it myself anyway......
18. There’s a pilot hole there from little hole I already drilled for the stupid self tapping screw Right that’s it enough faffing I’m off to demolish the job
19. Will do. I’ll post the pics of the cracked plate later lol
20. That is what I need and I’m gonna get some today. Annoyed that I’ll have to drill the numberplate whilst on the bike (from the front which is not recommended cos it can cause the acrylic to crack) but really I should have realised from what I was looking at it was wrong, I was rushing to get it done before the school run Demon plates sent the fixings.
21. I have to give the guy his due most people fall to the ground once tasered.
22. Looks like very handy stuff to have around.
23. Tar n glue, Ive not heard of that. Sounds useful.
