Well washing up liquid is a all rounder. As i use in making cement for building walls and stuff .makes the cement usable never build a wall with out it . Don't know about washing a bike with it tho

There was a time I used to ride with my light on . Then one day the sun was low .and this biker was coming towards me I seen him ( was in a car at time ) then he just vanished?????? It was his light and the sun blocked him out only for a few seconds but I felt it was long enough for some one NOT have seen him and pulled out . So.i don't use my lights any more unless it's dark. As for being seen if you can't see 18 stone biker on a big bike then your not looking properly. ..

I used to have RIDE on subscription as it was free heated grips so I went with them for a year. Then just last week MCN. Run the same thing I buy it most weeks just to keep my nose in lol . So if got a years MCN coming and set of heated grips. Which work out in both cases free RIDE/MCN for a year or free grips . The grips are £80 to buy the mag /MCN is £85 a year . If ones buying MCN for a year it be £120 .. So I'm saving £35 that way .

I said yes but I no idea looks the mutts nutts tho . I had an exhaust problem many years ago I had a GPZ500 and was planing a trip to Scotland with the Mrs on the back. So.as you know woman like to take the world and the kitchen sink with them . So I got some saddle bags as tank bag and top box was full . So I thought the saddle bags was to close to the exhaust. So.i fitted an aluminium plate to cover the exhaust then fitted another plate on top of that with an inch gap between the 2 plates . My thinking is the 1st plate with take all the heat off the exhaust then the inch gap between the top plate with alow the cold air to blow thro stopping the top.plate getting hot .. as the saddle bag had about an inch between the top.plate and the bottom of the saddle bag . Keeping.everything cool . So off we go we just about coverd 100 miles on the M5.M6 when a few.cars was passing me beeping there horns ????what's up with them looks behind me.nothing the mrs still on the back ????? I thought it must be me doing 90 they dont.like .. Then a guy on an R1 comes.along.side me.and.waves and.shouts !!!! Your bikes on fire !!! WHAT !!!!!!!!!!!! So I pulls on to the hard shoulder stops the bike we both get off the guy has stopped as.well and.hes running back towards me and I see flames an smoke coming off the saddle bag above.the EXHAUST.. just then BANG!!! the bag explodes I grab the saddle bag strap an pull it off the bike thro it on the floor and.stamping on it to put out flames . The bang was a can of hair spray going off.. all my wife's clothes and stuff was burned or wasted by the heat . Yet the top plate was cold to touch just less than 2 mins after I taken the burning bag off it . . So will it get hot and blow up mmmmmmm I don't know but what's the chance ...

Hi ok that's a relief. As it was hell.for us . As it was 100% we not giving the money back but.as we.had card.cover we.got it off the card company.. So any others here or friends hire cars plz check.

We paid for the car hire and.was told they want a credit card just in case .. I said but we got full insurance if anything happened the insurance will pay . Yes that's right but the car hire like to have a credit card on file WHY ????? SO they can take money out your account and don't need to tell.you unless you spot it then you need to argue it even then you have to wait months for them to do the checks .even then they don't refund you . As i said in bad to do anotherized transaction to get my money back . It's the new scam or how old they been doing it because ppl are wise to them not fixing bumps and dents then.charging the next person who hires the car . Then the next one so on . So now this is been highlighted. I contacted the papers and sent all the paper work .but nothing was printed . If you need the name of the car hire . Mexico all ways says !!remember the A....!! Or is it the yanks says it ..???.. Blue and yellow logo Anyone hired a car check there card statements. Small one 1st it was a bulb $3 then cost the car hire $597 at the time you take the car back ?????

Booked hire car in Orlando at airport , turned up, gave name, OK sir you want row 2, take any car you like, on return a woman zapped the car with a scanner, welcomed us back and said have a mice day, it was the most pain free hire car experience I have ever had. OOO FECK PLZ READ THIS .. Last year we went to Orlando went to collect the car . ..sorry we don't have the car you booked but we will upgrade you free .. we went all over the car for bumps dent scratches dings the lot . Had the car for 2 weeks went back.to the airport Dropped the car off the guy scanned the keys and said thank you have us a small receipt.. 2 weeks later credit card bill arrived . $600 dollars gone out of our card .. WHEN THEY SCANE THE KEYS THEY TAKE ANY AMOUNT THE WANT OUT 1st they will take juat a few dollars our case $3 the bank says ok . Then $597 went out . I taken us 5 months to get the money back . You have to call Orlando airport to talk to them as the number on the small receipt they give you won't Talley with any the numbers you booked with them its loged to the small machine the guy used .. NO BULLSHITE CHECK YOU CARD STATMENTS we had to get the cash baxk off the bank as unotherized transaction . If you dont have that small recitpt your screwed I asked the carcompny and the bank why would I pay for the car hire WHEN I TAKE THE CAR BACK . You pay 1st then you take the car not the other way round ..

The company van you used i take you used it to go home with and it parked on your street .drive . All vehicles they workers take home must pay TAX on them as they are classed as a company car/van . Also need to watch your insurance as company cars/vans are only to be driven in company hours /work . If the vehicle is parked on the queens highway it must be insured at all times if you don't have permission from the insurance company as a company car (registered as a company car/van ) your insurance is invalid don't take one the lads saying its ok the boss said Your boss is NOT one who will be paying out or informing the police if they ask does he have insurance... check these points out .. Because your the one driving and a judge with ask did you check .

One thing you need think of is if they do take you to court .. the judge with ask firm did you pay for his training /skills . Firm yes here's the bill on how much it costs... Judge did you benefit from the training you paid for . No he wants to/making him leave . Worker did you benefit from the course yes . I will get another job due to.it .. Judge you need to.pay for the course because why should the firm pay for you to.learn a.trade. and then you leave to work else where . You had the training they paid Now you have to repay them . If.you paid for the training then went to work.for them you could have had more money + bonuses. The training is yours NOT your old works . Why should they pay for your training unless it was to Bank for them . I done my forklifts licence my boss paid .I was told they would keep the licences for insurance purposes (bullshite it was to stop us going.else where with them. As it was reach. Counterbalance. And construction) We complained and the company was told to give them to us THEY DID but We told we leave while these was valied 3 years .we will have to pay the cost of the courses . They did say if we wanted to pay fornthe course we could and the licences would be ours but we had to take days off to don the course or do it in works.time and be paid .. . So i think.you will have to.pay what ever its cost the company to train you.. as it is your trade you learned

.Labour for simple jobs is often high because of all the parts that need removing to get at what is to be serviced. For example, changing spark plugs. In a car, most just need a simple cover panel removed (if anything) and that is it. Most bikes need at least the petrol tank removed and that can also mean removing fairing parts My car didn't have spark plugs (yea it was petrol ) it had a heater rail which in turn ment half the engine out to change . . It was only when I changed the brakes pads that I fecked up the servo .as it had a non return valve in it so when I pushed the calipers open to put in new pads bang want.the servo which was to fix you had to take the engine out the car . Citroen C8. .if any you have one and want to change the pads YOU HAVE TO OPEN THE BLEED NIPPLE TO.RELEAES THE BRAKE FLUID WON'T BE CALIPERS OPEN TO FIT NEW PADS IN . don't push them back. £900 it would cost me.to fix the car . One crappy little valve . Ended up trading 61 plate Citroen C8 for £500..

It really is a hit and miss but when its a hitn they well worth it . Only been shaffted twice . Out of say 20 or 30 buys .

But asking for opinions not to be told if you go with your own opinions and it goes wrong don't come on here whinging about it... I bought a Chinese bike and it starts 1st time even after a month of not touching it . Chinese bikes are getting better and better every year since they 1st come to light JUST LIKE EVERY other new item . And for ppl to say stay away from Chinese bikes who Put you in charge of other ppl choices .. But away if it turns out bad learn from it if it turns out good learn from it .. It must be so amazing to buy a jap bike and it never brakes down runs out gas . Never Needs new parts .free servicing. Looks and rides better than every other make . .

One bit of info that been said on here is circlip pliers.. for years I go on doing jobs with out these I mean maybe 5 or 6 times I needed these and never bought them as 1 a year naa I'll by somting else then you need them off goes the circlip 20 mins crawling along the fool with a magnet . Then the other day i bought my 1st.set one of each and if use then once so far and my god what a difference I know it sounds stupid but they are worth the money .even if you thank you never.use the again you will trust me once you start doing DIY on your bike . As for tool don't go for big branded names as that all your paying for but don't buy pound land tools

Hi Ian.. what are you on about you don't have a manual .. YES YOU DO its called TMBF just ask the guys on here they tell you or they will find out and tell.you . Lol I don't have a manual for my bike .as Haynes do one but it's the old type . Or the nighthawk and iv been told by Honda the nighthawk is close to the same as mine its not. If that makes sense.. Any probs I just ask on here .. I just did what the Honda dealer called a major service of £400 I think it was .. When it came.down to it it was Oil Oil.filiter Air filiter Fuel filter Spark plugs . It cost me £70 from M&Ps Swansea did it all myself Only bigger i had was I don't have a spark plug spaner .. So I went thro my dad's tools I had after he died . There was I think an old type. Long pentagon show pipe with a thing wire handle you use to undo and tighten . I just taken the wire part off and banged in an old socket and used a socket spanner . Job done ..

Wow that sounds like a garage I want to go to . Next time your in there m8 ask him to set up a garage in Cardiff. As I want that sort of customer service... .

I don't know much about tyres as I always used to have pireills tyres but I always ended up buying new tyres before my bro in law did and he used battleax tyres so I swapped to battleax .. So would you guys say road pilots are better .. sports touring on a 750 ...

This one really gets on my tits .. even when you call them back and say iv been quoted a cheaper price by you on line why can't you do the same on the phone ..ooo its because your a new customer REALLY so basicly feck off old customers and hi to new ones .. which next year will be old ones . Me I would go with the lowest payments and the closest final price to the amount to be paid .. As I freaks me out when I see OTR price is £10.000 .. total amount to be paid is £20.000 AAAAAGGHHHHHHH . Up to twice the amount to pay back .. I remember when I was looking for my very 1st mortgage. And the lady came to the house to sort it out (long story on how I had the house b4 I paid for it ) and she wanted to arange £2K cash back on me taken out the mortgage so I asked her how much will I pay back if I say no to the cashback ..WHAT SAY NO !!!!!!! Yes no how much in the end saying no to the cash back I saved myself almost £15 grand over the 25 years But then she showed me how much I was to pay back on the £80.000 I almost fell off the chair .. don't worrie the last 10 years the money will drop of the final price ..!!hang on so 15 years is me paying the interest on the £80k!!!! Yes .. . So After that I was so shocked at the final price on things on finance I don't have any after the 1st car than that's it never again.

Hi . It's like waiting for your wife to give birth when you Take your bike or car in for MOT . I had mine last week and I had tyre advisory and a loose headbaring . But again 22 year old bike that's good . Iv got the bike booked in for middle of Feb for them to do the front tyre again battleax 23 .. and then to check the headbaring as they said its Been loose for the last 2 years (mots) and iv had it looked at and can't find out how they say its loose. As one the signs is wobble at speeds got nothing slow or fast .

Ok MOT done and a pass . But one advisory which was the same as last year When they gave me the new MOT they said the sterring it had a bit of play in it ..not worn at all just bit loose when you come back next year (today ) we will sort it for you ... . so last year I went to my bro in law who put the bike . Got his big spanners out lol . And said there nothing wrong with steering. So today they said the same thing yet there is no play as you put the bike on canter stand and grab the forks and see if the move or try and move the handle bars forwards and back nothing .. Is it bollocks and just for me.to book it in with them or an excuse to make me go back next year ...

Put your hand in the exhausts fumes DON'T TOUCH THE EXHAUST then smell your hand if it smells oily yea it's burning oil but as said on here its just cold air hot air..

That's what I got on mine . It's fab . You can buy male and female so you can change other items to these . As my trickle charger connector was worn .an for a new one like it was £32 a set I bought the ones showed on here from China . Taken 2 weeks I had 4 sets for £20. Free postage .. well worth the buy
