  1. Quadcopter stopped in midflight and fell like a stone snapping an arm. Replacement body I already bought just in case... is for the wrong model. F*ck It!
  2. German sausage jokes... they're the Wurst!

    Diff lock on?
  4. Dexterity in Ashford are very good. They use Folkestone for Mod 2 tests
  5. I'd seek medical attention as a first priority. Shotguns don't give first aid so I'd give that a miss at least till I felt a little better.
  6. That depends on where you live...
  7. What the f**k do you drive that chucks out over 255g/km of CO2!?!? It's actually "CO₂Emissions 280 g/km" according to DVLA and the V5 It's a Shogun 3.2 Di-D, and I can hear a rain forest cry every time I start it
  8. Road tax - £500 MOT - £58.50 F*ck!
  9. Tank. Cost is comparable to cost of running a gas system. Only time it'll cost you lots is when your oil is stolen, which is apparently a fairly common occurence in some parts of your country.
  10. Look here for lighting heights etc... http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/1989/1796/made And here for the number plate regs http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2001/561/regulation/8/made You might also want to have a read of the Construction & Use Regs for motorcycles http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/1986/1078/made And when it's all ready for the road don't forget to notify your insurer that it's modded.
  11. He's also a shit actor.
  12. Yes! Think of the button as a brake lever. Potential = cover brake. Developing = use brake. Works for me, but I'm happy to accept that it seemingly doesn't work for others
  13. No. You've missed or perhaps misunderstood my point. It matters not that one may have passed 10 years ago. If the test is today, one needs to demonstrate their ability today. As for the test itself, I shall carry on teaching the subtle but very important difference between potential and developing hazards as that is what the test is designed to highlight in a graphical context. And I will do so in the knowledge that some candidates will quite deliberately ignore what they have learnt once the test is passed for reasons best known to themselves.
  14. If you were right, the same could easily apply to any aspect of the test. As in "I can do it in a car, making me practice roundabouts/controlled stop/junctions/et al is therefore pointless". Luckily, you're not right, so all elements of the test are valid. And if you have to practice it simply means you're not up to the required standard yet, so keep practicing till you're good enough to keep yourself (and US!) safe when you're on the roads
  15. It's a journey of 99 miles each way to my nearest Halfords, so the discount would need to be pretty huge to make it worthwhile using 8 gallons of fuel.
  16. Seems perfectly straighforward to me... offer to buy the salvage at the assessed value - £105
  17. My son passed his test to gain a full A licence (restricted) with no training beyond CBT but I wouldn't advise it. Pre-test training is more than just preparing you for the test, it's about preparing you to stay safe and alive on the roads.
  18. That needs to be progressed carefully on a fuel tank Or you could try dropping a lit match in and slamming the flap shut quickly...
  19. And you Dont even get a little paper disc to show for it That's OK, I made my own...
  20. I must have smaller ears, strawberries are a perfect fit...
  21. Road tax. £500. F*ck it!
