1. I've already ordered one, Geoff. Oh, and JUST back from the TZ ride-out... more than 8 hours after setting off, so I'm cream crackered. Bikers on TZ are there? Let me know next time! Though I'm Brighton way so I'm guessing prohibitively too far north for me... There were a series of threads about it, mate. We were riding through the Chilterns today, ending up at H Cafe.
2. Best compliment I've had for a while, that
3. The latest video is good! There's a face-palm moment then a teeth dryer, then a lol at how it made it all okay. @learningtofly get yourself one of these mate! 4. I get that. I like doing it, though, so I'm going to keep on making them
5. Okay, some nice Yoshi exhaust noises available in the
6. Want to hear ?
7. Autotrader Bikes is the most likely one, I'd have thought.
8. Now I’m looking forward to a video I'll do my best
9. The urge to give that exhaust a blast and wake up some cagers is proving irresistible
10. Sorry Was it not captured on camera? I’d literally just walked out of the dental surgery and was just going to poodle home, so I thought I’d leave the camera off. Shame - it would have been my first interesting upload
11. I just think it’s a lot safer, as the lock is much harder to get to and/or to attack with an angle grinder. I do use a disc lock on the front as well, but thank goodness it had too far to travel before meeting the calliper - it was beaten to the punch by the sprocket.
12. Beyond my wildest dreams, although I fear I may have to put the baffle back if I'n not careful.
13. Yes, precisely that.
14. Baffle in my backpack!
15. Well, I’ve turned disaster into opportunity by having a Yoshi can fitted at the same time
16. Doesn’t bear thinking about! Anyway, live update...
17. What’s even more impressive is that the Oxford padlock didn’t open!
18. I have but they don’t regard it as a breakdown. I suppose I should have given them a slightly different story but I didn’t think, tbh.
19. Well, I seem to have pushed out the boundaries of stupidity by some way this morning. Having just left the dental surgery where I was parked outside, I pulled away without taking the padlock off of my rear sprocket. Consequently, I went over with the bike, and the sprocket and chain were completely destroyed (two days before the big ride out that I’ve spent the last three months organising)! Anyway, to cut a long story short I’m about to be relayed by the RAC to Woburn Triumph, where a chain and sprocket kit is waiting to be immediately fitted in order that I can ride the bike home this afternoon. The only other damage to the bike is slight graze to the engine casing (oh, and it’s not starting, although I’m sure that’s something simple); the real damage is financial, as I’m having to pay RAC for the relay, which is £232! On top of that, I will obviously have to pay for the chain and sprocket kit plus the labour to fit it and sort out whatever is preventing the bike from starting. Let this be a lesson to everybody else!
20. Not to mention potential injury, Gerontious .
21. If it had been me, I'd have apologised profusely for what what must have been a misunderstanding, offered the OP a free training course at Viper, and then proposed a discount scheme for TMBF members who use the training school for training/tests and courses
