  1. If it's not raining in the morning I'll be there about 12.
  2. Going to take my rear tyre to the garage in a moment, assuming they get it fixed and I get it back on the bike today I'll be there.
  3. Yeah I know hence I've improved my WSB team and picked one of the cheapest GP riders, although there are less races in the BSB than any of the others
  4. You could try it if you want, but I'm not a fan of them smell tbh
  5. 1. Heated grips if you ride all year round 2. Pinlock antifog insert 3. Cig lighter socket. All brilliant things to have
  6. It's this one I believe (it's Honda & Called Pidcocks)
  7. Wow I've gone up 8 places!! Picked well with BSB Made my tranfers too, got rid of both my WSB riders, they was naff! Still hoping Rossi will learn how to ride that ducati as well.
  8. Congrats! So when you booking your test?
  9. Fitting a tyre to bike is generally about £30 each, although if you take just the old wheel/tyre & new tyre it's more like £15-20 each
  10. If the calipers are in good condition then yeah, changing pads is a very quick and easy job, but if they're a bit old and require cleaning etc then getting pistons out & back in again is such a pita. Took me a whole afternoon to do my rear one yesterday, so if it takes them a couple of hours I can understand maybe £100-150 or so. However a simple job like yours? That's ridiculous!
  11. Fair enough mega, I think you might have some diffuculty stapping that engine the back seat anyway Field is more than big enough, it's massive, but only two showers unfortunately, although plenty of taps around the site if you fancy a cold one out a bucket
  12. Excellent And i'm pretty sure you'll be kept sober with this lot asking you every question under the moon. Surely that's more likely to make him want a drink?
  13. I think it's just brute force, ignorance and a screw driver into the ignition. Not very good at stopping someone steeling your bike but it does prevent mates from wheeling your bike down the road and hiding it from you
  14. Pretty cool idea! Would be pretty good if anyone is unsure about this sort of stuff, however I've always learnt by taking it to bits and then spending a day trying to put it back together with only half the tools i most cases
  15. Get you munchies during the day. mega, that's pretty impressive you've got her to do that, but why not just ride the bike up?
  16. I just use a simple Regata rucksack from the survivor range, works brilliantly, very comfortable, never had and issue with it and I've had it since I was 14 (now 21!!!)
  17. I was rather hoping camera's would be banned at this rally As other have said, sleeping bag and tent can easily be strapped to pillion seat then clothes etc can be put in a ruck sack or tank bag, then just call at tesco once there for food =] That's my plan
  18. Only up the road from me so yeah should be up for it.
  19. Good call on using the tyre inflater, wouldn't have thought of that myself although I do think putting engine oil in your breaks would be a very very bad idea! Nothing but break cleaner and break fluid goes near my breaks, just not worth the risk on something so vital.
  20. Congrates on the pass!!!! Though that sounds like a horrible crash, hope he's alright
  21. I did about 400 motorway miles last week are pretty decent speeds, tyres are perfectly fine, it's when you get into 4 figure motorway mileage they can become flat in the middle which can effect handling a little bit, but it wouldn't ruin them unless you was going very fast for a very long time.
  22. Got Oxford heated grips and they are one of the best accessories I've bought for the bike! They aren't prefect, in very cold weather (below 5 degrees) your finger tips and back of the hand would get a bit chilly after a while, however for the most part they're great! They will be the first thing I buy for any of my future bikes. One thing I would say though, try and get one with a dial rather than +- buttons as they're easier to adjust while riding.
  23. I had some waterproofs that started to do that after about a year, a bit of Nikwax is all you neel, it's brilliant stuff
  24. until two months ago when I finally bought one. Just tighten it up to a normal sort of tightness, don't bounce on it trying to get it as tight as possible, just until you feel stiff resistance then just a tiny bit further. When I actually did it with a torque wrench I found that using the above method I was pretty close to the recommended range. Oh and I might add, my wheel has never fallen off once
  25. OK I got the day off work, however I went to tax the bike online and it turns out my MOT ran out last month I will get to a meet at some point this year!!
