yes that's the problem with the last two or three bikes I have had, a few years ago I always needed an excuse not to ride my bikes and as just said the past few bikes I have wanted an excuse to ride them apart from the serow, I think the problem with them has been that I bought them un road tested and then a couple of weeks later I realised I wasn't gelling with them (my fault) so my next one it certainly will be going for a run round the block

yea they were no rocket ships the series land rovers

no but I have taken a few bikes over to the isle of man a few times on the steam racket without any problems and some of my bikes only had side stands, when they rope them down they tell you to put it in gear

yea I used to have a series 3 land rover that was like that so I only did short trips

yep they always used to say that wrapping your L plate round the fork leg was a big no no and you would get sauced by the boys in blue
