  1. Thanks guys, bloody bucket lists , but seriously it is something I have always wanted to do but never really had the opportunity, my circumstances now means I have more time and in some ways a greater understanding of music itself. Thinking about what I want to achieve getting a used arranger keyboard for around £100 will be sufficient to learn the basics and create the stuff I want for my videos, but I will invest in a good quality digital piano to properly learn classical. I don't know there is just something that really gets the spine tingling when you hear a piece of powerful music, and I am only guessing but I think the feeling would be even more noticeable when you are actually playing it, probably not as much with electric as it would be with an acoustic instrument but nevertheless it will still be something to accomplish. I would be more than happy to be able to play one piece a fraction as good as the original composer within a couple of years.
  2. @Silentbob83 Hope you have a good one
  3. Hi everyone, quick question any musicians on here or can anyone advise regards keyboards, basically want to have a go at creating my own backing tracks for the videos etc, but also want it to be suitable to actually seriously learn how to play properly . Having been searching through my collection of cd's I have found a new fondness for classical music and I want to learn how to play.
  4. Video done. I have done this one as bit of an experiment to see if it works or not. Not that I really care anyway it just a bit of fun for me
  5. Sad news indeed, I am sure you will find good homes for your gear and will be appreciated
  6. Planned my next ride out for this coming Sunday, going clockwise again starting from Donny and hopefully some drier weather and can get the full ride videoed Should have said if anyone wants to join just let me know, I will be leaving approx 8am I should also say no sat nav is being used, the whole ride will be from following road signs so there could be some changes along the way
  7. @Fozzie Hope you have a good one
  8. It can get a bit monotonous, but all I will do is pick out some key areas and get rid of the rest. I am lucky using the dashcam as it records in 3 min segments so I can just join the bits I want to keep, I have got a few minutes of me filtering on the A1 as I missed my exit and to carry on until the next one
  9. Yes it was, second stop was at the Lady Bower cafe and saw some bikers I met before at one of our club bike nights, I got drenched though going over Woodhead Pass but I couldn't careless I was enjoying the ride. Just waiting for the footage to finish transfering from the card to my pc hard drive only another couple of hours to go, good job I put in the bigger card got nearly 40GB of footage to sift through
  10. Hi every one did 157 miles today, went to the Faun Cafe and not bad, it's clean and decent food only had a sausage and bacon bap and a mug of coffee £5.50 and pretty quick and good service, then went on my ride, I won't bore you with the details and had to cut short my video footage going over Woodhead due do very heavy rain, but will get it edited and posted on YT asap, but here is a screen grab of my overall route on Google maps Starting in Donny and going clockwise and first stop at Faun Cafe.

  12. Will do, although it does seem to get some great reviews anyway, and it is featured on the UK Bikercafe website https://ukbikercafes.co.uk/?fbclid=IwAR3u_rzrVWs3tWGBAuGPGYeYQATRtn27G9AbmGTbGWBWhr92XAe0RQWP-og
  13. Thinking of going to Faun Cafe at Hemswell Cliff, just far enough away for reasonable ride then have a few options of longer routes back home taking in some nice roads
