  1. Yeah, they are really hot. They have 5 levels of temp but I used 2nd when it was below 0deg and when it is a bit chilly I use 1st level and it even seems just a bit too worm So for this price I can really recommend them
  2. Got a flat tyre today and they are nearly new. Did maybe 600-700 miles on them... I hope it can be plugged. And fecking right after I lost my job F**K IT!!! F**K IT!!! F**K IT!!!
  3. If its only too tight on your face go to a shop and ask them about different size cheek pads. They can be replaced with various sizes

Hello mate. It is polite to say hello and read a bit first. There is section here for any technical problems called Pitstop
  6. Well done http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z8/wroble/Minimoto%20PC/136652180CSLhmh_fs.jpg
  7. From what I've heard its the old 2t Derbis that used Yamaha engines. This new ones does not. When did you service your bike last time? Change oil, filters and spark plug and it may help And check condition of the old spark plug for any issues with fuelling. Any additional advice will come from someone with more knowledge
  8. Buy this: AMAZON CLICKY Just £5.99 delivered Oh, and I also think this tests are a rip off
  9. I've fitted R&G ones to my and my gf's bikes a few months back. £30 each and working great
  10. I have bought a pair of gloves, trousers and boots last year when I was starting to ride. I still have all that in perfect condition and I'm using it all the time. I wouldn't buy a helmet from them but other stuff I thing is good
  11. I'm jobless... F**K IT!!!
  12. Yeah, it is a common problem of seeing hazard before that stupid program thinks it is a hazard... I did the same
  13. Better luck next time m8. Hazard perception is sh*t. I was struggling with it as well and I got 44 points on my test (thats a pass mark lol). I still think it has nothing to do with reality and is completely pointless...
  14. Dunno about place you live at, is it a big city or a small village?? I live in small village and I have right in front of my house 2 quite long streets without any houses on them. My gf was trying my big bike there and I we were learning slow maneuverers here. If you live somewhere like it you could just take your Fazer in front of your house and practice a bit Or if you have a local biker friend ask him to take you and your bike somewhere you could practice
  15. I had the same. I really hate slow maneuvers. I have failed my MOD1 3 times but that was because I had no training at all and I used bike which I had not ridden before. But then I went for DAS and after 1 day training with instructor I passed it without any problems I still hate slow riding and I'm cr*p at U-turn but hey, you need to do it just once. Don't worry, you'll be just fine. You may also just had a not very good day today. Everyone have one of them from time to time. So be happy it was today and not on your actual test day You'll be all right
  16. There is still about 70 places left. I am going with my gf. It will be great to see so many bikes at the same time
  17. It seems allright Have you checked ebay?
  18. I have a Duchinni D801 helmet and the only problem with it is its a bit loud but I've also tried my gf's KBC helmet and her new Shoei (we have very similar fit) To be honest Shoei is not much better and KBC was even louder. As for visor removal... Don't know about your model but I have a little lever on each side which I just need to lift to release visor... EDIT: If you have a good eye have a look at this pic: http://images.esellerpro.com/2189/I/168/99/lrgscaleDuchinni-D419-Ace-Motorcycle-Helmet-Red-1.jpg Looks like there may be some kind of button right next to that silver ball-thingy and visor needs to be correctly aligned
  19. On 3rd April 2011 will take place a Ride of Honour to pay respect to the brave service men and women of the armed forces. Funds are being raised for soldiers and supporting Help for Heroes and a local Yorkshire based charity, the Black Rat Fund, based at Catteric Garrison which helps personnel and their families from the 4th Mechanized Brigade. Fee is £10 per bike. Please note that places are strictly limited to 500 Bikes and no registrations will be accepted after the 13th March 2011 or on the day of the ride. At the moment there is just under 140 places left. More info here: http://www.ybfevents.co.uk/ and here: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=187277841297808 http://www.ybfevents.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/roh_poster_v1.7small.jpg
  20. I can recommend you a school in Doncaster if it isn't too far for you (i'm slightly geographically challenged without googlemaps lol). Really good instructor and really good price. I paid under £400 for 2 and a half days training and that included test fees
  21. I had them Bridgestones BT014s when I bought my bike and I hated them. I put maxxis Sport Touring a few months ago and they are really good I wanted something that would last and not too expensive. And I'm quite surprised how much better than BT014s they are (they are A LOT cheaper...)
  22. Its kind of hit'n'miss with those. It may zip, it may not. I have 3 jackets and none zips with my trousers lol. Also they all have different zips between them
  23. Seriously, that is a joke... Urban Rider £290 and earpiece is not even included... One XL is £130 so you are paying £160 more just for Bluetooth, waterproof case and SMALLER screen?? Bike satnav is one of the biggest rip-offs ever... Sorry but my vote goes to One XL with £15 waterproof cover I wouldn't use this bluetooth earpiece anyway as I don't like having anything on my ear under the helmet for too long as it starting to hurts and I can't use earplug... But thats just me
