Not sure about bike ones as I wouldn't pay 3 times the price of normal car one with just waterproofing and bluetooth but most of my friends are switching to Garmin from Tomtom. I used to have Tomtom, then Navigon (which was rubbish) and now I have Garmin nuvi. It is brilliant. I just need to but a waterproof case for a few quid off ebay...

I did MOD2 a week after MOD1 only because in case of unfortunate failing MOD1 I didn't want to loose MOD2 fee that already have been booked. So if I would fail MOD1 I wanted to have time to re-book MOD2 And waiting time is up to school. I guess it depends if they have many learners and if test dates are available So, if I were you I would wait with booking DAS 'till after the CBT. You'll see how are you doing then have word with your instructor and he should advise you about the amount of training you may need

Check this out: alphasuspensionset-up.co.uk Guy is from Leeds and I've heard quite a few good opinions about him EDIT and its cheap £25

The first 2 letters (or letter) denote the area.. NW - North West N - North W - West SW - South West SE - South East E - East. Simples! Cool, I didn't know that, cheers -

Sorry, I have no idea about London postcodes They also have online store and are on ebay -
I failed my MOD1 for not using foot brake. And foot brake is much safer to use when is really slippery. You'd have more time to react when loosing back end than front. Also on good road at normal speed when doing emergency stop it is an extra help with stopping

Dunno if thats any close to you: They have great prices and good selection. Me and my gf have bought almost all our gear from them (but Leeds store) -

How many days/hours of training? And thats including test fees?
-
Chill out and just have fun How much will it cost you?
-
I see your point here I just keep thinking about my gf and her brand new R125 and keep forgetting about average 17yo "Rossi" and his beaten up "rocket"

One of the reasons I prefer to buy from private sellers as dealers can have too much experience in lies lol. But of course I agree it can happen

security chain/padlock
cypek replied to dimmers's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
Thats the one but I wanted 2.5m to lock 2 bikes but after I made an order they contacted me to tell me there were none in stock So I got Almax instead. Great piece of kit -
Come on Ingah... Reliability?? Have you heard about any issues with R125?
-
Only if you're happy to buy a lemon / money pit. I got my zx6r off ebay without first seeing it as it was too far and it is a great bike in better condition than I expected. If you looking for something cheap or some real bargain it may be risky but if you buying something you know is worth its price then you should be fine. If you have good pictures, proper description and you spend some time on the phone with seller you'll minimize the risk. And even if you check the bike up close you have never any guarantee it will not be a money pit EDIT I have also bought my 125 off ebay without seeing it and 2 cars before. 1 car was non-runner but it was stated in description there were engine issues

The biggest choice I think is on ebay. I got my zx6r from there. And don't let the distance put you off. You could have it delivered for £100 by our site sponsor

Its really good. My gf have one. One of the fastets 4-stroke 125's, looks brilliant, full size bike
-
I am using one on my chinese 125 as original speedo is dead. If you set correct tyre circumference it is working fine, sometimes even too accurate as it is supposed to overread a bit
-
If you look hard enough you may be able to find a R125 within your budget. You could also try Derbi GPR125, Hyosung GT125R, CBR125. To be honest all 4-stroke 125 bikes will be under 15bhp (unless heavily modified) and also restricted 2-strokes like Aprilia RS125, Honda NSR125. btw please say hello in our newbie section and put your location in your profile

security chain/padlock

I wanted to buy a chain from them, one of those 16mm Protector but when I made an order they had none in stock so I went with Almax instead. -
First time abroad this summer, france anybody?
cypek replied to mackemforever's topic in General Rideouts/Meets
I would really be interested but it all depends when my OH pass her test and get a bigger bike and if I get any holidays/funds as I'm not even working atm -
Have a look around in your local schools. Some allows you to take free 1hr assessment. Do it and instructor will tell you what you need to work on. I did it before my DAS and he said I need just a few hours to polish everything out and he was right

Yay, just passed my mod 2

Well done -
If its Derbi and just a year old, isn't it still under warranty?
