Update on the progress Finally got the perspex sheet. Decided a light grey tinted opposite to just normal clear. I think it's looking better like that. From the pic below, the perspex will be cut to the size of the sticker. Still wondering if it's a good idea to do as @Ian Frog said and cut off the white surround. The tricky bit will be between the letters Not sure about making a round shape at the bottom just to fit the holes for the flat head hex bots or leave it rectangular with rounded corners at the bottom.

By far the best place to have your MOT done is a garage that doesn't work on bikes. They will do the basic checks and send you home. They won't have any interest in failing it and have to do a free test again once someone else made the repairs.

Have you tried the yellow tinted visor? Never tried myself but have heard good things about them.
