One way I found to control my weight is to have vegetables soup in the evening and stop watching masterchef. I save a fortune in chocolate biscuits since I don't watch cooking shows. About chocolate, dark one is far better than milk chocolate. Less sugar and fat. Dark chocolate is part of your 5 a day and high in energy with relative low cal count.

Adding to what @megaross says. Change your "diet" regularly. If you keep having the same diet you will have your weight platooning. Changing it as soon as you notice the weight loss isn't as accentuated as desired it's time for a change. Nothing radical, just a few different elements so you trick your body. Human body is a habits machine and really hates change. By doing so, you will "surprise" your brain (aka ego) and you keep the weight loss at the level you want.

condensation will be the cause of it. I don't know of a practical solution that you could adopt other than moving to Spain or Portugal (other countries are available) The way to reduce moisture underneath the cover can only be achieved either by not having it or all the way to the ground with something holding the cover down and maybe having a dehumidifier salt under the bike. Even then I don't think that would be efficient or practiccal.

I mean that if he's going straight to the MOT station and back, then it is okay. Even if he's stopped by the cops and explains he's going to the MOT the cops can confirm if they want to.

The insurance will be void if he's riding without MOT. That excludes travelling to and from MOT station. Note that a wee ride after MOT in SORN is considered riding without TAX and will risk the bike being impounded plus penalty.

By any chance, does any of you guys know where I can turn the forum's logo into a semi circle? The idea is to have it along the friction zone.

Simple enough question but maybe impossible to answer

Own brand dealers have a "added responsibility" to protect the brand they are representing. Not that it's a guarantee of superior service... -
I think we all agree that rust is one of the most common causes of bike "deaths" At some point we all had to deal with rust in our machines and for sure there are many processes people have for it. I found this clip which I think is quite interesting. I don't know how well it will work on a part that is heavily exposed to the elements but could be a way to deal with it. Personally, I would still prefer the more expensive nickel plating as it would last longer. The purpose of this thread is that we can share experiences and as many different ways as possible. Thank you for watching

In Scotland you would have a t-shirt, a long sleeve shirt, thermal long sleeve then your jacket. A neck thingy to stop midges getting into the lid. Trousers would have the inner warm layer. Because of my arthritis I'll use my knee thermal protection. Thermal socks. 3 pairs of gloves because you know rain is a matter of time...

Changed my mind will only use the front disks. Can easily weld the 2 together and make a table clock. Need to give them a good clean, remove the rust and dirt. weld it in place then a good coat of clear varnish. Mechanism from Aliexpress Maybe @Stu will let me use the forum's logo.

Maybe I'll use the 3 disks and make a clock out of it. 1 front disk as base, second front disk vertical as dial. then cut the rear disk to fit inside the base to hold the vertical bit. Watch this space

All fitted back and all fluid replaced/bleed. Now rear brake is stuck Youtube is saying probably cause the secondary front master cylinder maybe needing servicing. Some guy replaced the balancing valve. From memory the secondary cylinder was working properly. So, either the balancing valve (a pain to replace) or need to rebuild the rear master. While at it, maybe better to bite the bullet and get the 139 hoses and replace the whole lot. Service the rear master, service the balancing valve. costs are creeping up...

The old disks are beyond repair, pitted badly. The repair would bring them below recommended thickness so it's a no.

Getting there Both front disks in place, wheel back in. Tomorrow the 3hrs bleeding the callipers. Each have 2 bleeders and have to be done together. Several times each calliper untill no air is in the system.

Play attention as they can be called as off-road and illegal on public roads.

Any fitted lights that will cause dazzling to other road users are considered illegal and either incorrectly used or fitted. running lights should not be so intense that will disturb other road users but strong enough that would be seen at a distance of 120m. Either you have fog lights, which are illegal to use during clear days, or they are actually auxiliary lights and will need to comply with the range that they are supposed to reach (40m at the top of the beam) with a clear demarcation. Should those be high beam auxiliary lights then they will be connected to the main lights of the bike.
