Morning update Rear wheel ready to go back in place Front callipers now waiting for disks to arrive and be fitted
-
Knowing the Chinese you probably could run of of the Chinese bikes with that rubbish
-
I wouldn't even get close to Chinese whisky. Probably made out of rice
-
The calliper holds the pads (not in the pics) inside the calliper you have the pistons which will press the pads against the disk making the bike slowdown
-
Glenfiddich will be my top choice. Followed by Jura All depends on your budget.
-
The pistons are all exactly the same size as old ones. Will double check if they actually go in that calliper or not

Today's job. Cleaning all the parts. A good wash on the wheels Then cleaned the calipers And most parts Tomorrow will be cleaning all the banjos and fit the rear disk. Then assemble rear wheel.

Knowing how much you guys love pics... rear disk front disks still to be delivered. Hopefully early next week. plenty of time for thorough and complete clean of all components. by the way. Venhill doesn't have brake lines for ST1300. best price for good quality still at £600 mark

The hoses will definitely be replaced. Not on this month budget. Need to recover the finances before spending anymore on it. Unfortunately, I was born handsome instead of rich

The kits from wemoto have the nipples and all the runner bits. I'll just put them in the bin. The whole house is the man cave Don't fancy that kind of ornament in the garage. If anyone wants them. Just let me know and they can be collected free of charge

front disks. Rear there ia always one... Then, I used a wee bit of brute force. Taadaa Clean as a whistle Glad I ordered the pistons kits Next, cleaning the wheels and get a new exhaust clamp. Had to cut it off. Remove the pistons and seals ready for new ones. Clean the garage floor...

@megaross No way in hell I'm spending another 700 quid in the lines when I'm really close already to 1k The lines look okay and will change them maybe next year. My comment was even before checking if the brakes were working or not. It is now redundant. I've ordered the piston kits for both front and back. New disk and pads. Plus all the small bits that goes with it. Today manager to remove the rear disk. Images in next comment

That's orders placed. Won't mention how much the full set is costing... Unless I can get a crowdfunding Items to arrive hopefully 1st Nov or there about. Pics of the worn bits posted tomorrow.

I always prefer to solder than crimping although I know some defend crimping is better. Ideally, crimp and solder after to make sure nothing goes anywhere. A small crimping pliers would to the trick for small contacts
