After a 5+ hour drive from Hull to home, I decided that as the sun was out and warm I'd give my new Knox Urbane Pro 3 a trial ride. I did put a hoodie over the top, but still let plenty of air thru and kept my nice and cool. Well the little trial ride, turned into a 4 hours bimble down to Hastings for supper. Fighting the flying dustbins (seagulls) for my hard earned food was getting annoying, so stuffed it down my throat and set off for home. The ride back was a little on the chilly side.

Fitted an EvoTech rad guard to the bike, just didnt feel right not having one on there.

what husoi said, but I'd be looking for Essex/Herts centric based groups for rides. London based you're more likely to lose the bike

First service being done on the XSR then a progressive bimble on Sunday to Arundel.

Went for a ride, got it over the required 600 miles and first service booked for next weekend. Starting to properly enjoy this XSR

I wouldn't recommend the 765 for no other reason than you'll feel cramped on that too , coming from an SV. GS/Multistrada would be my guess. The Tigers are all top heavy, which might not be an issue as you say your fit. Just my 2p worth

@Mawsley had both feet done years ago. Somehow managed to screw both big toes at the same time.

Did you replace the number plate with anything slightly smaller? If so, where and what size did you go for?

I dodged the showers this morning and took a trip to the tyre shop on the XSR. This was to replace the stupid little stubby tyre valves with nice 90 degree bend valves, making it easier to check pressures and inflate if required.

Put some more miles on it, just over halfway on the running in process.

I recently had to replace my daily helmet (Scorpion EXO 1400 Carbon) after owning for close to 4 years. After trying on a few different helmets I decided on the Shoei NXR2 (TC2 Sheen Blue) . Like you'd expect with a new helmet, it's tight in all the right places, yet no pressure points. The lid itself comes in 4 shell sizes, XXS and XS, M, L, XL and XXL, with picking an L that suited my head. Having now spent a few hours in it, mixing city, country roads and motorway, the weight of it is only marginly lighter than Scorpion. On the road noise side of things, this helmet is just so quiet. The Shoei quality is second to none IMHO. The only thing I'm really missing is the dropdown visor, but the dark smoke lens suits the look of the helmet and even when riding in the dark vision is still very clear. At time of purchase it cost £499.99, I also purchased a Cardo Pactalk Edge as when buying accessories with the helmet comes as tax free, but most dealers will only discount to 16.6% for some reason. But hey any discount is welcome.
