if its over charging then its reg/rec is the possible problem and it will be boiling the battery dry resulting in needing new reg/rec and battery

sounds like the tacho has seized in the clock itself put a small screwdriver up into the drive and see if it turns

it dried up on way home and by time we got back to chatteris it was dry again -
nexxus will not give you any big power gain,it is basically the sporty version of the motad system.same as putting pod filters on it you will spend more time trying to get the jetting right it will drive you mad beter off leaving it standard

could well be muck in fuel line or carb could also be air filter clogged up or needs changing some smaller bikes run the air filter coated with oil and if that has dried out then it stops air flow and makes the engine choke up,if its meant to be dry filter then just check its clean,sorting carb out is easy job on one of them if it needs to be done -
sounds to me like either the starter solinoid or the starter motor itself,have you shorted the 2 big terminals on the solinoid to see if it starts then,if it still just clicks then it could be starter motor itself

you will normally have 2 or 3 pipe outlets on the petcock,if it has 2 the then smaller one is normally the vacuum,if it has 3 the one is normally for main tank one for reseerve and once again smaller one for vacumm pipe,if you are unsure you can fit a piece of hose to one of the pipes and suck gently on it,if petrol flows out of the other one then you have found the vacuum pipe

drop the headlight lens out if it hasnt got a fairing to check wires inside headlight bowl,if it has got a fairing then chances are the loom will all be tucked into a fairing bracket somewhere so you might need to drop the front sectioni of the fairing off to get at the wiring but it does sound like you have melted part of the loom,there must be other problems likea direct short to earth somewhere you will need to find

ys you can use anything to put across the 2 big terminals either a jump lead or 2 large screwdrivers,what ever you use there will be lots of sparking as you touch both sides but if the engine then spins over fine you know its the relay at fault

tick over will always be higher while you have got the choke on,it could also be that you are keeping it on for to long and choking the engine that will then take a while to clear again and like rennie said lights going brighter when you rev the engine is normall,if you are worried get your mechanich to check charging voltage tickover should be around the 12volt mark and then at about 4000rpm should be about 13.5-14.5 volts roughly

check plugs for condition as said and then start looking for fuel leaks if plugs are correct colour as the neta 4 into 1 shouldnt affect anything due to it being a direct replacment for the original system just made by motad -
