  1. this is clutch set up http://www.cmsnl.com/suzuki-rm85l-2002- ... ml#results and you can see where cable locates next to number 6 the filler cap in this pic http://www.cmsnl.com/suzuki-rm85l-2002- ... ml#results
  2. then with the cable adjuster refitted to the bolts that hold the casing on and the cable fitted into it correctly and handlebar adjustment set right it should work unless something has fallen out from inside as you stripped it
  3. surely its a v62 you want to fill in which is the v5 registration document application form?
  4. it sounds to me like you have not got everything lined up correctly inside the casing as you replace it
  5. being a 125 it might well not have a sump pan but you should be able to get it out be removing clutch casing and change the oil before running the bike again in case there is any little bits floating about
  6. i think littlecat has a spare reg/rec for an r6 if they are the same or at least she did have might be worth giving her a shout and asking
  7. looking at the pics the selector shaft is badly damaged and will need repalcing, you will need to drain the oil out of it and remove clutch case anyway so dont panic about oil level at the moment, once you have removed clutch case you might be able to get shaft out without splitting the cases, but you might have to remove the clutch
  8. you could remove the leg shields and weld a tube in from headstock to frame and place a tank on it there instead of having it fitted under the seat that will change whole appearnce of the bike
  9. the brake pivot passes through the frame if i remember correctly on these so it will need lots of wd 40 and gentle persuassion maybe a bit of heat as well
  10. if there is at least a litre you are guessing try turning fuel tap onto reserve or go and put some more fuel in it and see what happens then, also dont forget to check oil level in the engine 2 or 3 times a week as they do sometimes use some and it doesnt take a lot to wreck the engine
  11. yes lots of tanks breathe through hole in fuel cap so covering it with carbon might of caused the problem as some have pin hole others use the key lock as part of it
  12. cheers for the offer bob but the way my luck goes i will end up having to replace that as well i will just hang on till i get new battery after the weekend
  13. i would be there bike is all legal but battery charger has died now and cant afford new battery for another week yet so missing out on more good weather
  14. according to lots of folk spray a bike matt black it becomes a rat stick twin healights on a bandit it becomes a streetfighter so some tend to think,me i think each to their own and live it love ride it and abuse it (unless its a harey then it spends more time in shed being fixed than ridden)
  15. here you go http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NOS-YAMAHA-TX ... 1086wt_721 looking at that again i would say thats an air filter not oil filter but these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-OEM-Yamah ... _348wt_721 can be got from the states
  16. looks more like a fuel pump to me its certainly not an air filter
  17. if you remove the top yoke you will be able to see the underside of the ign barrel and the 2 snaphead bolts that hold it on you might need to remove them and remove ign barrel but ther ewill be a number on it that a yamaha dealer will be able to get a key cut for it or once you have the number keys galore will be able to help http://www.allinlondon.co.uk/directory/1259/13609.php
  18. well done for sorting it yourself and saving a few ££££££ glad its all working fine now just keep a regular eye on both coolant levels and oil levels as they can both vanish quickly and regular checks will prevent serious engine damage possibly occouring
  19. going to try car place first thing in morning got to try and get it back together and moted and then it post office for tax before 12.30
  20. nowhere eally to mount it i can get new switch from black bear harley in newmarket i just havent got the spare money at the moment was hoping it would go through but thats life
