Yep. 2017 Thunderbird with 3k miles. Immaculate. Comfort seats, passenger running boards and extras. Couldn't get any decent offers, so thought stuff it. I'll just ride it.

Just discovered the speed limiter on the Volvo is wired to do 5mph either side of what it thinks is the current speed limit. Clever.. When it's right.

Putting it on the record that, should I become another motorcycling statistic, the last thing I would want is some hand-wringing politician limiting motorcycle acceleration, enforcing the wearing of airbag vests, banning filtering, or anything else, for that matter. That being the case, I shall do my best to stay alive , to avoid mucking it up for everyone else. -

Hi My first bike was a Thundercat. Bought it before I passed my test. Failed the test, dropped the bike on my leg and had a bruise from ankle to hip that lasted from May to October. Good times!! Sold the bike, gave up on the idea. Came back to it all in later life and loved every minute of it. Hope you enjoy the CBR and post some ride reports and pics. They're a good bunch on here.

Well, I cut out bread, but I don't think that's what you're getting at You can get inflatable or gel seat pads which might be worth a look. The cool covers we have on the Explorer don't give much extra softness, but seem to help by allowing airflow between seat and rider.

Ignore anything the AI summary says. It once told me the inner dimension of an oil seal was larger than the outer dimension. Then it told me a 7-digit part number which it later admitted to guessing. I mean, it had a one in ten million chance of getting it right, why not?

I've got the Oxford alarmed disk locks and a chain similar to the Oxford one in the picture (from Screwfix). The bike survived a night out in Blackpool wearing one of each, if that's any recommendation. -
