  1. A lot of 1 inch bars have 7/8" ends.
  2. I don't see a problem if they clamp onto the bars ok and the clamps squeeze everything together ok.
  3. Had a gold chain and rear sprocket on my blue Fireblade. It did look good.
  4. I always buy DID Gold chains. Never had a problem with the sideplates rusting or brass coating corroding. I do lube the chain with Wurth every 200 miles , so it's probably protected.
  5. How many miles on it. Sounds like chain knackered or spindle/adjusters not tightened properly.
  6. Flush all the old coolant out, fill up with a fresh 50/50 mix until tank and rad full, then squeeze large tubes repeatedly until bubbles stop rising to top of rad and tank. Run engine to circulate coolant and once cool, squeeze air out again.
  7. Somebody has stolen money off me and numerous other bikers. Think he may work in Worthing. Just need someone to ID his bike outside his work.
  8. I need something checked out in the Dominian Way area of Worthing. Five minute job?
  9. What Bob said. More threads have been damaged and bolts stretched using torque wrenches than not using them. Make sure all threads are clean, dry and undamaged. Do not lubricate threads, especially with copperslip.
  10. Nothing wrong with split links as long as fitted properly. I have two on my dragbike.
  11. If I was closer I'd do it for ya. Or make a clamp to clamp sidestand to centrestand and make one leg removable.
  12. Weld the sidestand bracket to the top of the centrestand and cut off the lower centrestand. You can use a paddock stand instead when at home.
  13. What bracket, can you move it. The flatter your feet , the less likely you are to drop bike.
  14. What's that hanging down below the suspension bracket in the second picture?
  15. Most things are doable and safe, given enough will, ingenuity and cash. I did it for a mate. Made a clamp to a frame tube and welded the sidestand bracket to the clamp.. Not everyone can afford a new frame or a full stripdown.
  16. Check everything before you ride off the forecourt. I could tell you some horror stories caused by numpties in bike workshops that can't do the basics.
  17. Buy or make another sidestand and bracket that bolts to the centre stand or frame bracket?
  18. See if your old chain will fit those sprockets or vice versa. Looks like wrong width.
  19. What it didn't say is before pushing pistons in, to allow fitting of new pads, pump pistons out about 10mm, clean all the crap off them and then push them in until they are fully into the cylinders. Keep an eye on fluid level .
  20. People clear blocked jets without clearing the source of the crap . Always a good idea to drain tank , flush out with clean fuel and remove petrol tap to clean that and the tap inlet filter.
  21. That's not greenlaning. It's called riding like a twat, off road.
  22. Yup, Vatadero. Don't buy Chinese.
