  1. No, you don't need to change battery. If you added high output tungsten lights, you might need a more powerful alternator, not a battery.
  2. Too cheap. Buy OEM or a good make like SKF from a local bearing supplier.
  3. Yeah, but if you want to watch live F1 with all the practice sessions, there's no other choice.
  4. I heard that last race, so just signed up to SkyF1, £10/month for 2 years. Cancel anytime.
  5. They need to be held by an M10 bolt normally. Drill pilot hole until it's in exactly right place, then drill full size hole. Do not use M8 bolts, the bracket will bend and crack your fairing. Pix of your bike would help. Take fairing off to find fixing bolts.
  6. I'm still amazed that you attempted a "temporary fix" on a sump bolt thread. The interference between an m14 and an m15 thread is minimal. You've probably got very little aluminium touching the sump bolt and you still don't know if the sump is cracked or not. THIS COULD KILL YOU IF IT FAILS, DO A PROPER JOB , NOW!!!
  7. Those are normally daytime running lights, depends if there's a dip beam shield in em. Can be set up as fog lights if you want.

    Battery

It's an in line fuse. Check what it's connected to?
  9. The headlght has one or two 50/55watt bulbs. That's between 4 and 9 amps.!!!
  10. I use a clock key off ebay for tappets. Nuts usually 8 or 10mm. Buy a digital caliper for measuring.

    Wheel alignment

    That's a new one!!!
  12. Maybe try some bikes with different handlebars or handlebar positions. Find the most comfortable and buy them. You can buy some bars with mega adjustability, known as Jota bars
  13. Either buy yerself a cheap project bike to play with or come down to my place to learn on my bikes.
  14. Fixed it without removing the cover. Used thread repair tap making the thread from M14 to M15 than put the new 15mm drain plug bolt. It took 2 minutes to make the new 15mm thread with the tap. You fixed a damaged M14 thread with an M15 thread? Hmmm. Don't think that will last.
  15. Why, do you like giving money away?
  16. I followed the instructions, but I pre mixed what I needed with boiling water and put it straight in the radiator.
  17. DO NOT PUT RADWELD IN A MOTORCYCLE RADIATOR. It's too thick and can block radiator passages. If it is a small coolant leak, use K Seal It., but wait for Bob's advice first.
  18. Did you tighten the bolt until it turned easily? If so, you have stripped the alloy thread and/or cracked the sump. You will have to do a proper job and remove the sump plate to repair the thread. I've seen sump plates cracked when undoing the sump bolt the correct way.
  19. I'd keep it as simple as possible, with maybe a back up electronic system. Maybe run a little bit retarded ignition timing. A mate ran his race bike with a separate oil system and pump for the turbo, to keep the clutch crap away from the turbo bearings. Difficult on a road bike, but it's very easy to destroy a turbo engine.
  20. That's nice n low, with stock pistons I wouldn't go higher. You need a bigger gauge and a reliable waste gate system. Also make sure you have very clean oil for turbo bearings.
