  1. I bought a second hand Hagon for my B12 and it gobbed it's oil onto the rear tyre!!!! A Busa shock may fit too ?
  2. One of the Gixxer shocks will fit. Check dimensions of yours and compare with Gixxer shox on Gixxer junkies or a shock site.

    yoke respray

Whatever you paint it with will get scratched by your keys! Spray with a clearcoat afterwards or preferably fit a yoke cover.
  4. Sounds like crud stuck at a gearshift pivot point mate?
  5. Got a link mate. Only seen em for 20?

    oil dipstick

Best to check the owners manual!!!
  7. I wouldn't put it in my bike. You can put it in yours if you really want to

    Fuel

What Stu said. Brim the tank and drain the carbs. Put it on an optimate if you need the alarm and don't start it. If you don't have an alarm, remove battery to somewhere warm indoors and keep it on a trickle charger..
  9. Have you got pictures of the top and bottom of the forks?
  10. Yup, oil, oil filter, air filter, check for loose bolts. About £150-£200 for a mechanicto do, £60 to do yerself, if that!
  11. A lot easier mate and a lot cleaner. I hate working on cars. Clearances are smaller, but everything , except electronics , is sensible and logical.

    tail tidy

Got a bigger picture Alex. ? Looks like the ones in the middle of the centre plate?
  13. Have heard a lot of bad things about Goldfren pads

    LED lights

I bought an LED indicator relay for £13 off eBlag. It copes with LED and Tungsten lamps.
  15. Possibly, Don,t know what pressures dirt bikes normally use.
  16. Fireblade discs were £95 each at David Silvers. Not many better than standard Honda.
  17. Sounds rather low for a road bike, but my be good for off road riding. Try increasing pressures in 5 psi increments and then try it. I wouldn't go over 40psi though
  18. We can sort it when you have a ride down to my place mate. Easy if you have an adjuster near the twistgrip. Should have just enough to not open throttles when bars are moved lock to lock.
  19. Unusual for any properly fitted tyre to lose ANY pressure, unless it goea from very hot to very cold. Try a different tyre fitter, change the valves and check for leaks. You may have leaky WHEELS!!!
  20. You could always unbolt the sidestand and weld a bigger pad on it? Or send it to me and I'll do it?
  21. I wouldn't recommend any sort of blasting on a complete engine mate. Possibly soda or vapour blasting , but nothing else. Have read and seen all sorts of carnage caused by blasting complete engines Just looked at your blog. You will not completely block the exhaust and inlet ports or any other orifices, if you are gonna pressure wash or blast your engine. There is no substitute for scrubbing it with a wire brush, rotary brushes and an acid or caustic cleaner if you are careful, UNLESS you strip it to inspect the internals and do a proper job. It ain't that difficult and you will learn a lot. I have seen perfectly good COMPLETE engines destroyed bt blasting!!!
  22. Remake the 3 yellow wires into a new or cleaned up connector. If there is an earth wire going into reg /rec, splice another wire into it and connect directly to battery negative pole. Make sure RR has a good area connected to subframe for heat sink.
  23. Main thing is it keeps crap off the rear shock. Around £400 up to £1200 for a good replacement. A hugger is worth every penny.
  24. If you can get the engine/bike down to me , I can check it out and possibly fix it?
