  1. Gareth, why not meet us in Brampton, by the shops in the high street. Can't miss it, car park to the right of the shops. 10.00am
  2. Sad about giving up the bike but happy times ahead with the nipper. Good luck
  3. Congratulations Stu and Tracey on your wedding day. Long life and happiness to you both. Enjoy your day
  4. Martin, Darren and myself are riding over to Wheels on Sunday for breakfast. Meeting at mine at 10.00am if anyone cares to join us for the ride over meet us elsewhere or just meet up with us there, come along. Can`t stop out much longer afterwards as I have a birthday party to go to in the afternoon, possibly till about 1.00pm max.
  5. f**k IT, I am now having to break off an important job to show the turning circle of a wheely bin, a compost heap, a garden shed and a washing line on a plan to satisfy some ridiculous code for building to. I`ll check to see if the planning officer gets of their fat arses and goes and checks all this.
  6. Darren knows how to get to my place. 10.00am sounds good, see you both then.
  7. I very much think so Martin, you could ride over to mine and then go on from there.
  8. Al, you have no idea how planning used to, and should still run. These twats are just throwing up obstacles to prevent them having to make decisions when they are over loaded with work. Any decent officer would have put a red line through the wrong note and re-written it correctly with a black pen. SIMPLE, Like I say, and will forever repeat, f**king idiots.
  9. f**king Planning Officers, just had the planning officer on the phone. She cannot determine the application because I wrongly labelled one of the elevations East instead of West (an over site on my part for trying to hurry the process along). Normally, anyone else just labels the elevations Side or Rear etc. but I though I`d help the twats out and label it both Side and East because basically they are thick any way. Will take another two weeks and she will have to consult the neighbours again. I`d be bloody embarrassed to go back to them with this trivial over site. f**king retards, just cross the bloody label out on your copy and stop wasting people`s time and loosing my client thousands of pounds in waiting. Personally I`d f**king sue them, but my boss likes to keep in with them. Useless, twats, what I`d do if I had money would screw them up totally.
  10. RAC looking good so far
  11. Thanks a lot chap, I`ll look into all these ideas when I get home and have the time.
  12. Thanks, I`ll look into it
  13. Can anyone recommend a good company for roadside recovery. I`ve looked at the usual, AA, RAC, Green Flag Etc. just wondering if anyone knows of others or just happy with the ones I`ve mentioned. Would go for the works because I`m a shite mechanic and would not want to get stranded by the road side. The recent puncture has made me realise what keck I`d be in had it happened on a ride out. Ta for any help
  14. Should have looked on here before you left Al, lot of us backed out due to being knackered, hot and in need of food and cold beer. Catch up with the holiday gossip next week if not before, looking forward to hearing about Canada
  15. Just got back from a shitty survey. Measuring up in this heat with bike gear on. Not good. Going to give it a miss tonight chaps. Cooking my dinner with a cold beer and follow this up with some wine with my lamb. No doubt next week
  16. very good Ian, might be a bit flappy though.
  17. Cheers for that info, I'll look inti it
  18. Not really Ian, need good stuff for the work commute. Is there any such thing as light weight rain gear?? I' be pleased to know if there is. I'm here now though and the good old BBC has done a shite job in weather forecasting AGAIN and a totally dry pleasant ride up. Sitting thinking about getting a shower, beer, taxi and party. Unfortunately beer came second as i'm sweating like a stuck pig. May see some of you local peeps in St. Ives tomorrow.
  19. Got to go to Spalding (Lincs) today for a party. Weather says fine when I want to set off and fine when I should arrive. Bloody trouble is, I go through a belt of rain with nice coloured green patches, denoting heavy rain, whilst travelling. Hate flamin waterproofs so stopping and putting them on half way is going to be a pain in the backside. Feckin weather.
  20. Definitely going into st ives but not sure what time I'll get back from spalding so can't arrange anything yet.
  21. I would have done normally Gareth but I`ve got a party in Spalding of all places and I`m travelling there mid day. Can`t open the link, what time does it start and what time is it likely to finish ??? Oops, sorry you`ve answered that in your post. idiot is me
  22. Nice to read matey, good luck and hope all keeps going well.
  23. My chain amnd sprockets being done this or next week so know what you mean.
