  1. i think standard discouint for groups over ten tends to be 5-10%, don't quote me though
  2. tailpack/cargo net/ leave the backpack at home...hate em...never use one

picked her up from school a few times when she was at juniors, on the thundercat....she thought it was ace, and was the envy of all the lads. took her to a parents evening on the bike in year 7 , which she loved...but when I suggested doing the same last week for year 10 parents evening it would appear it is no longer cool ( though I suspect that's more to do with helmet hair and running mascara lol )
  6. matt black hammerite and a brush
  7. actually, now I think about it... I think I gave it away to some hard up students
  8. good point GoG... though im pretty sure the garage beer fridge is empty , and has been for a while
  9. cheers guys, got her in the garage now, so hopefully start on it tomorrow night. tango, that's brilliant mate thanks, id probably not have thought of disconnect the battery
  10. ok, I need to change the slightly bent bars on kittys er5...have a new set of renthals here , and pretty sure I can manage it.. anyone got a brief running order...what do I take off first , in what order , what to watch out for etc etc
  11. pinlock and rain off spray...and keep the visor shut but vents open
  12. which is all very well if you have a wingspan that allows you to grab the front and back at the same time..... I cant
  13. I have never been able to centre stand any bike , I use a sidestand ( or paddock stands if I need to bike off the floor) for manouvering the bike when you off it...make sure its leaning towards you , preferably leaning on your hip ( or in my case my chest , lol)
  14. those are the ones we have that I was talking about, and they do a lot more than 100m at lower speeds, motorway or dual carriageway is a different matter, but we find that's because of the wind noise, not the distance
  15. you want shorter dog bones to jack it up...the opposite of what I usually have to do , lol
  16. theres also no fiddling with buttons unless you want to swap from one mode to another ( and in that case theres a huge , glove friendly button on the headset) , we just open the channel when we set off and leave it open
  17. we have the BT interphones , £60 off ebay , and done about 4000 miles with them this year.... as a cheap starter set id recommend them to anyone. they do bike to bike, headset to phone, headset to sat nav, and music. they work better when your in line of sight ( lost touch a few times in the mountains on our Scotland trip), and can be patchy at high speed in high winds....but generally very pleased with them, and im sure theyd be fine for what you're after
  18. Seriously though, you need to take a chill-pill or something. What makes you think im not "the little guy" too?? haha , you weren't exact the tallest guy ... so that probably fits
  19. phil, I don't think that was necessary.... this thread has quietened down now, a personal attack/insult like that just isn't appropriate or needed at this point in time.
  20. GoG, can you not rent one of the statics that were on site there?? might be worth an ask.....we will definitely be camping again.... bugger staying sober to get back to wherever.... just not happening
  21. best hi vis i've seen lately says ,,,'you have just been overtaken by a female'...... almost funny enough to make me want one. if only they made them in pink
  22. looks like me and ohjay are fancying this... if you and bob are thinking about it too mandy , that's even better... should be a bloody good week same goes for us... its 2 bikes, but one room
