  1. this actually looks like a bloody decent trip... will get the better half to take a look ....but if we're both in that's 2 of your 5 bikes lol
  2. the Kawasaki knack is similar to the Yamaha one...push the key in, jiggle it out a bit , then turn
  3. hehe, you got bitten...go for it , you'll never regret it
  4. in order if newly qualified bikesafe performance plus novice trackday with instruction IAMs/ Rospa race school ( walkers/ron haslam/California superbike)) every day on the bike you learn something new, but all of the above will teach you something invaluable
  5. I second the recommendation to do bikesafe.... and would also suggest performance plus...superb value...great training if you're relatively new, and worth doing before further advanced training( great first chance to play on track too)
  6. Cats Place....close to MFN, and closeish to Matlock , and some fab roads ......according to FB its definitely a 'place'
  7. happy anniversary guys.....these forum meetings have a lot to answer for
  8. had a problem with Chiras, ended up buying a new replacement tap from Kawasaki. wasn't overly expensive and not had a problem since
  9. ermmmm...absolutely no idea why you felt the need to have such a personal attack... I simply stated my personal opinion... which has no bearing on you or your decisions/preferences. I shall **** off from your thread now , but still reserve the right to an opinion.... please feel free to point out that that isn't welcome next time you post a thread asking for thoughts on a public forum
  10. if its fogging up, you have a gap ( however minute ) between the pinlock and the visor....make sure the seal is in contact all the way around
  11. I still personally think that any tattooist who needs you to have laser removal in order for them to work you a cover up is a lazy arse totally lacking in imagination.... but then I have only been tattooing for about 13 years, was only a professional artist ( non tattoo ) for about 10 years , and am a girl to boot... so probably know nothing
  12. actually you don't even need valid insurance to tax it under the new rules....we did the tax first, from the dealers computer....with no insurance, then went outside and rang the insurance company
  13. shame you didn't ask earlier , my brother is an instructor, could've probably picked his brain for tips.....not much help now I know ..good luck anyway
  14. not me specifically, but Chira has only ever ridden, and recently did a days karting... says it was difficult getting used to the right foot accelerating, as shes used to it being for braking im guessing that went wrong a few times
  15. did you drop the front through to match the rear lowering ? just wondering as I will be fitting a 45mm kit to my z750, and will need the forks through, but not sure how much clearance there is with the set up of the bars
  16. anywhere without a fast left hand bend should be sound
  17. congratz , and keep it sticky side down... its pretty slippery out there with the wet leaves etc .
  18. brax...easy way to solve this mate... if you had an accident that was your own fault ( ie too much speed etc) could you afford to a. be without transport b. have time off work ( possibly a very long time) methinks the answer would be no... so just don't do it...you are master of your own destiny
  19. not going to make this one on account of having a lie in and feeling rather lazy. safe ride all those that do go , catch you next time .
  20. unless you've already taken some kind of bike test in the past, the A is provisional and only covers you for a 50cc scooter. for anything else you will need a CBT
  21. unless huge, and solid filled in black, any decent tattoo artist should be able to work up a cover up that will completely disguise it. laser removal will leave scarring , which would be a nightmare to tattoo on again
  22. possibly, if its dryish...need a chance to try my new levers out lol
