    Well.....we're having a top time.......some really good bands in the booze'n'blues bar. It's not all about the bargains. .... Harley, Victory, KTM, Honda & Kawasaki with bikes here to sit on......so it's not too bad......

    Excellent course......full of useful information if you are ever unfortunate enough to be among the first to arrive at an accident scene......presented by guys that are all too often called to these scenes. Was great to see you guys there too.... Alstu....go onto the Biker Down Facebook page and ask on there if there's a course near you.....if enough people in an area ask about it they'll get the case to start running them there.....

    If I get caught in traffic for a short while my fan comes on......don't take much slow traffic to get the temp up high enough for the fan to come on..... If the needle is getting fairly high on your guage and the fan isn't kicking in I'd say that either the fan is duff or the temperature switch that controls in isn't working.....

    Littlecat had the same problem with her Honda just recently.....so maybe send her a PM to find out what she did to cure it...... It does sound like the temperature switch for the fan isn't operating....or there's a problem with the wiring to/from the switch.....

    The "studs" on the Speedie are actually allen bolts.....have to use an allen key on the back to stop them spinning.....

    Is the fuel tap ok? When you took the float bowl off did it have fuel in there?

    Yeah.....been keeping tabs on it Ken......but we'll see on the day.......hopefully it won't be too bad.....

    Erm.....yeah, it p*ssed down on the way back......my leathers are certainly not waterproof! Had a good evening though.......was good to meet friends old and new.....

    Or put some fuel in the tank to replace the stuff that escaped......

    The sprocket must attach to the rear wheel.....so, if you put the wheel back in and put the back brake on you must be able to loosen the nut.....unless I'm misreading what you said about the whole lot turning?..... @Matty....the sprocket and carrier and rear disk all stay in place when I remove the rear wheel on my Speedie......single sided swinging arm.....

    You won't regret it mate......great bit of kit......and easy to use.......and more stable than a paddock stand IMHO.....

    Yeah......and the Speedie has black tribal paintwork......not many of those about....... And my black and orange Bell lid is fairly noticeable too......

    To undo that nut you may need to put the rear wheel back in and use the brake to stop it turning while you loosen that nut......or put the chain back on and stuff some rags where the chain meets the sprocket to try to stop the thing turning while you slacken the nut......

    ABBA stand mate......with the attachment for lifting the front wheel too as Bonniebird says......magic bit of kit.....
