  1. Congrats with the passes guys.....good luck with the MOD2's......
  2. A mate of mine had an unfaired silver one.....lovely bike to ride....and silky smooth.....bit of a pain at service time with 6 carbs to balance and 24 valve clearances to check..... I'd have one though....even though it's not a Triumph. ...
  3. They used to be called spade connectors (male & female).....have a wander round Maplins and see if you can find them in there.....
  4. Is there a Haynes manual for that bike? Certainly isn't one for the TT600 and Speed 4.....so I got one of those dealer manuals off eBay.....which did the job ok....
  5. If you're up for a ride on a particular day it's probably better to start a new thread with "anyone around for a run on X".....probably get noticed more......
  6. Sorry Gareth....gotta take my lads for lunch tomorrow as it's the younger ones 18th birthday..... Hopefully next weekend will be ok if you're around and the weather holds out....
  7. Could be a slight leak on the exhaust somewhere.....check around the header where it joins the cylinder head....
  8. Could be camchain adjustment.....or valve clearances......Haynes manual will be your friend for checking both of them.....
  9. Welcome to TMBF mate......pop over to the Newbies section and introduce yourself to the guys when you can.... Dunno about this jacket.....but I had some Spada Enforcer waterproof gloves and despite the claim that they were 100% waterproof they weren't even close......and others who had the same gloves echoed this finding.....so it soured my feelings towards Spada kit...... But someone with experience of that jacket may be along in a while.....
  10. Athens to Athens - Joe Bonamassa
  11. Yep...there will be a few 125's.......and we normally do a rideout to cater for the 125's too.....
  12. Mississippi you're on my Mind - Jerry Jeff Walker
  13. I'd invest in a Haynes manual if I were you..... My Speedie rear sprocket nuts are 33nM.....
  14. Sorted for you mate....
  15. All sorted for you now mate....
  16. Sorry mate...bit slow getting you sorted....but you're all set now....
  17. 21st Century Schizoid Man - King Crimson
  18. Some suggest Fabsil.....also available from camping shops.....but TBH waterproof waterproofs is a bit of a Holy Grail.....
  19. Check the fuel tap vacuum connection is ok......and also the tank breather isn't blocked..... Oh....and check the fuel filter isn't blocked....
  20. Space Trucking - Deep Purple
  21. Switch the rotary switch to 20 in the DCV section....black test lead goes on the COM socket and red test lead in the V ohm,mA socket. Put the black lead to the bike frame or engine ground connection and then put the red lead to the terminals on the horn....with the ignition on you should have 12v ish on both terminals....then when you push the horn button one of the terminals should go to 0v and the horn should sound. The horn has a 12v supply going to it and the horn button connects the other side to ground, putting 12v across the horn. Be careful though, coz the horn on my old bike didn't sound unless the engine was running.....so just be wary of that.
  22. I thought they threw the towel in coz they were spammed to a standstill Stu.....
  23. Mine was on my mirror. We need some vibration damping... any idea? No damping.....just more solid mounting.....I've got some things I want to try.....
  24. PM Megawatt too.....he knows a lot about those aircooled Suzukis and used to race one at santa pod back in the early 80's.....shame that the aircooled Suzuki website folded a while back....you would have got your answers for sure on there.....but Megawatt still has contacts from there if he doesn't have the answers.....
  25. Yeah....I need a more solid mount.....strapped to the front brake reservoir isn't the most stable place....
