  1. Welcome to TMBF Marv.....pop over to the Newbies section and introduce yourself to the guys when you can.... If the current indicators have bulbs in then you must be able to replace them.....it's just a matter of finding the right bulbs. Have you looked on eBay? Good luck....
  2. However....you really should learn how to maintain and adjust your chain.....
  3. Rear brake is essential for low speed control.....so you should not be penalised for using it on the MOD1.....never heard of that before... I think that the only thing you'd have problems with on the slow riding is if you put a foot down.....as long as you're not weaving like a Saturday night drunk you should be ok....
  4. Sorry Neil.....we've got an off-road experience thing this afternoon....
  5. I would think that the worst case scenario would be a new cylinder head.....but if the head is taken to a decent engineering company I'm sure they'd be able to get the remains of the plug out without damaging the plug thread.
  6. It's looking good mate.....should be proud of yourself for the work you've put into it.....

  10. I think that's your best option mate....
  11. Congrats mate......and good luck with the MOD2.....
  12. Unfortunately you can't move up from a 125 until you're 19 mate.....then you can do the A2 test and ride a bike limited to 47bhp. The present rules have been in place for about 18 months now.....
  13. I reckon Roy (YorBandit) will let you camp in his garden for £50....
  14. 2?.....looking at producing some 3D footage then Joe?.....
  15. Yeah...if the lid is loose it's no good to you.... Different lids fit differently....so not all Large ones will fit the same...even from the same manufacturer.....so your best bet is to visit a shop and find a lid that fits correctly..... This is why buying lids online is not a great idea....
  16. Sorry I couldn't make it this weekend Gareth....out with my lads yesterday and down to my mum & dad's today....but hopefully get out some time soon....

    torque wrench

Having sheared bolts and stripped threads in the past I now use the torque wrench for most jobs..... Got a Draper 10 - 80nM for £30 at a bike show a number of years back....
  18. I tend to put my feet down also....unless it's an exceptionally wide road....
  19. Unfortunately I'm off visiting my folks in Kent as it's fathers day.....well, not unfortunate that I'm seeing my folks, but unable to head across to Snetterton....
  20. ..You got the bug bad.....

    clutch advice

I take it that you've adjusted the clutch to spec? If so, it could be the plain plates in the clutch that have dished a bit, causing a bit of clutch drag.....only solution to that is to replace them.... East Anglian Biker said on another post recently that the 535 gearboxes can be a bit iffy.....but hopefully that's not your problem....
  22. A few beers will sort you out James.... Caveman fancy dress again mate? ....

    Engine Coolants?

In another thread we were discussing coolant. I met someone a while ago who said he ran high performance coolant in his bike which stopped his running hot problems.....so I tried to find it as I couldn't remember what it was called, and came across this stuff http://www.waterlessenginecoolant.com/p ... 80-5-litre. Has anyone used it? If so, what do you think?
  25. I'd start with the easiest thing Matty.....then go from there if that don't work......so, if it were me, I'd put fresh fluid in and see what happens....
