  1. Just arrived.... All looks straight forward enough if not a little on the fiddly side. Will test it out in a few days.
  2. Well said Roy... Don't think it will be a problem. Just have to make sure we treat the place with a bit of respect. Keep the noise down, keep the revs down and just be polite to everyone.
  3. Looking forward to it mate. Let's hope the weather holds out!!
  4. Wasn't nice was it Jim... Vicious High side...
  5. I think as long as we show some respect round the place we won't have any serious issues.... Burnouts at 3am might not go down too well...
  6. Yeah, you tell em Vicki!!!! Ratsers suggestion... http://www.lochtay-vacations.co.uk/index.htm We could do loads of activities as well as the bikes and it looks a very nice place to stay. I reckon the kids (Even moody teenagers ) would enjoy as well..
  7. Concussion... Can't ride for 48 hours.
  8. Looks like my ability to read is failing me.... I won't be able to type soon and everything will become unreadable... Anyway, shlakj dhlskdd duwpwue a ruyuepmoi hedsloiaqjan?
  9. Downer... Well lets see what we can figure out nearer the time.... Hopefully you might be able to swap? Calling Scotish People. Great Roads and great places needed... Ratser has already recommended a location, but would be good to hear about more...
  10. Summer Holidays it is then. Stu, can you work round that?
  11. Im sure we can all work round things.... I really don't have that problem. My holiday time is 100% flexible so I can work round everyone else. Vicki, I am sure kids would certainly help us secure a Cottage easier, so yeah... And if we can come back to good food, then brilliant!!
  12. Definately mate. Really look good. First time I saw it today and was very impressed.
  13. Hi All Yep, I know it's over a year away at the moment, but after mentioning the idea today as a passing remark it gained a bit of interest. What I am thinking is we get a Holiday Cottage somewhere close to a good area for roads / scenery then basically spend a week chilling out. Riding during the day then enjoying a few drinks (If that's your thing), junk food and each others company. At the moment I just want to get a general idea on how many would be interested if I started putting some costs together. My only concern is that we would have difficulty getting a cottage if it were all lads (Especially when we say we are all bikers), so any couple's or female bikers that would be interested would be fantastic!! If you think you might be up for it then just drop a post on this thread. I am guessing the more people we get the bigger the cottage and the cheaper it will be!!
  14. Probably not the best phrase after today!! I think the rule is 48 hours before he is allowed back on. He will need to rebuild his confidence again, but I think he will improve a lot on last year even with these minor setbacks..
  15. JT's had an off... Lying on the floor at the moment. Big highside. He is being stretchered off. EDIT: He has got concussion, but that's it by the sounds of things.
  16. Starts in 5 minutes!!
  17. Wednesday night (April 1st) is the first night. Weather is looking pretty good, think I might have a ride down. Anyone else?
  18. Like it mate... Wish AGV lids fitted my head!!
  19. Could all have been in your head mate... You have one weird moment (Diesel, wet white line, summat else) and you spend the next 100 miles thinking something is wrong with the bike..... Since my flat tyre last year I start to worry about the slightest twitch...
  20. Bit off topic, but a very basic 2 man tent in Millets was for sale for £14.99... A slightly more fancy one for £40.... Cheap as chips!!
  21. Go for ones with good knuckle protection, and a long sleeve... They won't make much difference to your temp and will help your hands keep their "Hand" shape in an accident.
  22. Helmet's should be a tight fit mate..... A loose helmet could be dangerous in a crash. Did it feel tight just on your face, or on your whole head? If it felt tight on only your face, but loose on the back of you head, then the helmet is the wrong shape for you. You need one that hugs your whole head... Have a look here for help. viewtopic.php?f=32&t=15767
  23. Sounds better mate!!
  24. Check the manual mate, but I don't think that's anywhere near enough slack on the chain.
