  1. Nothing to do on Boxing Day..... Annoy your kids by dragging them away from their new toys!!! Been speaking to Willow about this and it looks like a good laugh... One for the kids as well this... Looks like a fun day.... http://www.bsac.org/news.152.htm Thinking we could just meet up, enjoy the day then make our way home again. Let me know if you are interested and I will see if I can arrange times and meeting points and stuff...
  2. Good old WHSmiths.... Must say I thought it was a pretty good read... Lot's of stories and an interesting insight into his racing life.
  3. Nothing that can't be easily treated mate, and they are getting better and better.... Phil is using his all year round and he ain't having any problems...
  4. Gone for the SV650.... Great all rounder mate... Can't go wrong there... Sure Phil Gale will agree.. I agree with Big Sis!! Probably only one winner here.
  5. Got a friend who had her car keys stolen in similar circumstances. Her contents insurance would not cover it unfortunately.... Your bike insurance will cover it though, although I suspect the excess will mean it ain't worth it and you lose your no claims.....
  6. Just thought I would let you all know MCN have done a special one off magazine about Rossi and his season. Very steep for a magazine at £7.99 but from flicking through it so far it looks interesting.
  7. Just over 200 miles mate!!!
  8. Get to your nans then!!!!
  9. Bloomin eck woman, do you know what you are letting yourself in for woman!!! Might have to pop up if it's cold though... Don't think we will be getting anywhere open for a coffee funnily enough..
  10. Yep..... If the weather ain't too bad, count me in!!
  11. Got a summer (£4.99) one thats made out of thin cotton, and a Cold Killers one that I use in winter.... Both are single eye. Yeah they affect the direction of your breath, but nothing a pinlock visor can't fix...
  12. Do they work Mark? For the price I don't think you can go wrong..
  13. Testing thermals.... Could be handy!!
  14. Sounds about right...
  15. Hi mate Very nice bike!!! If you can get her up and running again you are a very lucky man. Don't know much about them myself unfortunately, but someone on here should be able to help. Drop into the Newbie section and introduce yourself!!
  16. Out of the two I think I would go with the first one.... The both look good, but the first just seems bulkier.....
  17. I can't make you buy one mate, I am just advising..... It's entirely up to you!! To be honest I have a bit of a passion for these things and see them as important as helmets in some respects... I did my CBT and DAS without one... Yeah they can be seperate to the jacket.... In fact they are better in my eyes as the are fastened to you and move around a lot less in an accident... Mine is a Knox one and straps to me under my jacket via shoulder straps and a waist strap (Good for holding the gut in!! ) Just make sure when you buy your jacket that it has a bit of room for one to fit under it...
  18. No worries mate... I understand you wanting to get your kit cheap but take a look at this... viewtopic.php?f=32&t=15836 A CE Approved back protector that straps to you can cost as little as £80 - £100... £100 is not much if it keeps you out of a wheelchair (Or worse) after a crash...
  19. Looks good. Ask the following question... Where is the CE approved armour located (Probably Elbows and shoulders, but check) Are you intending to get a back protector? This jacket has a foam one, but that's about as useful as a chocolate teapot..... If you are going to get a proper one that fits under the jacket, make sure the jacket has enough room to accomodate the protector.. RST make good clothing though... It should be good.
  20. HJC are fast gaining a lot of respect mate.... Like Techno says, they all mist up...
  21. They are building a new circuit in Hungary which looks damn good. http://www.motogp.com/en/news/2008/Firs ... t+in+place EDIT: Just realised you may need to login to see.... Sorry if that's the case. Good site though, you should sign up...
  22. Yeah, I thought that until about 2 months in I tried some.... It's then you realise what abuse your ears are taking...
  23. Chances are you are already affected, but it will be barely noticeable.... I recommend you start wearing them from now on though!!!
  24. Good questions mate.... Would have to be a safe place... Closed road, track, test road, and a bike setup by experts, but would like to hit 150mph.... Would never go on the back of a bike with anyone though..... Im a control freak. Can't help myself.
  25. Korben
