Don't know too much about Scottoilers other than if it works and you have it set right they are very good. If you don't use the Scottoiler though you will get a million answers to this question. Personally I make a point of lubing mine after every ride (average ride 100 miles). It's better to lube a chain when it's hot just after the ride.... Your chain will soak up the lube better. Some say after every ride, some say every 100 miles, some say every 200 miles some say even more... Remember to clean it as well.... I use a cloth soaked in Parrafin to clean the chain, then lube it after with spray on lube....

Well it turned out that even though I didn't know what I was doing someone up there did...... Can't make it now.... Sorry all. Totally gutted!!!

I'd second that - as a bike commuter i'm in all textiles. I tried on various one-piece leathers, and wasn't impressed with how long they took to get on and/or off. Especially when you need a pee!!!

Depends what you riding is going to be like.... If you are going to be a fair weather summer rider then leathers are probably the way to go and maybe have a waterproof oversuit for those days you get caught in the rain. If you are a all year rider then I would go down the textiles route...

If you are asking on here mate then you are concerned about it.... I would get it checked out mate. Arai are great with stuff like this and should be able to get it sorted for you mate. Take it to your local dealer (Where you bought it from ideally) and see what they say. Better safe than sorry an all that. Oh, just gonna move your thread to the clothing section for you mate!!

Moved this into the clothing section for you mate. What Akey said is spot on... You can get loads of stuff.... Personally I would recommend having a look at Cold Killers stuff..... Apart from the eyes and eye area their is not a part of the body they can't cover.... So far I only have the balaclava with a neck cover... Apart from that nothing covers my neck and I don't feel a thing on it mate.

After what work did to me this year I will be there no matter what!!!

Hi turugalea Not too sure about the cover to be honest.... I know some have the technology to wick moisture buildup away from the underside of the cover so you might be able to find something. Welcome to the forum by the way!!! Drop in to the Newbie section and introduce yourself!!

Just seen a report on the news on TV about it...... Wow is all I can say. Not amused I could not make it and especially as what I had to do for work was cancelled. Looked very emotional. EDIT: Didn't see anyone in the crowd I recognised.
