  1. Yeah its not the best website, but if you click on http://www.rideforrotary.org thats shown on the page you get to the 2009 bit.
  2. http://www.deeside-rotary.org.uk/ This was really good last year, and so I'll be going again
  3. No way was there 3000 bikers. There was at least 10000 if you ask me, even then that might be conservative. Everywhere was rammed!
  4. I doubt it will achieve anything but it was a great day out, and I changed my black visor for a clear one, but thats only made my mind up that a dark visor in sunshine is far safer, and regardless of the law my safety should come first.
  5. Nice to meet you, hopefully you'll come out again on some more ride outs. I'm knackered too, was a long day
  6. Heres some at Swallow Falls http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee259/Voodoo1972/DSC00032.jpg http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee259/Voodoo1972/DSC00031.jpg http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee259/Voodoo1972/DSC00030.jpg http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee259/Voodoo1972/DSC00029.jpg http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee259/Voodoo1972/DSC00028.jpg Don't let Pete take the mick too much Dave, I took a photo of his bike and his incredibly large crash protectors http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee259/Voodoo1972/Fazer.jpg
  7. Yeah it was a fantastic day out, and same again, never seen so many bikers. I'll post some pictures in a bit once I've had my pie!
  8. TC I'll meet you at McDonalds at 10am
  9. Thats right, the via gellia is the A5012 which is off the A515.
  10. Quite an entertaining read. Have you tried going to Matlock the other way using the Via Gellia?
  11. Just keep listening to the BBC and they tell you all that info. The difference between each advance can be nano seconds though.
  12. There's plenty of places if you were to camp.
  13. They way I understood it was, you warm the engine up completely, then you just nail it everywhere!
  14. You can replace them yourself, but its the cost of the actual disc thats the killer.
  15. If its not going to chuck it down, I'll be coming along.
  16. How's about Vee Wipe or Door Mat or Slippers or Tax Disc Holder or Garage Mat
  17. I've got one of these "Click Here" that I wear in the summer (under a jacket), and they really are good. I wouldn't really recommend only a kevlar t-shirt to ride in the summer with though. It might offer some protection against gravel rash but it won't help against any knocks. You really need a jacket with a bit of padding.
  18. Why would you want a kevlar t-shirt, surely you'd be wearing a jacket over it anyway and so whats the point? A thermal t-shirt I could understand.
  19. If you wear leathers, then get a lined suit, much easier to put on.

    Failed M.o.t.

Front wheel bearing is easy if you have the right tools, without the right tools you can make do with a screw driver and hammer. Nine times out of ten, its really easy to remove the old bearings but I've had some in the past that have been a dog. Thing is, if you never try fitting them you'll never know how easy it can be and it'll cost you a fair bit for somebody else to do it. Things that have gone wrong in the past though include the bearing centre falling out along with the bearings and leaving the outer shell still in the wheel, this was a complete dog! Bearing that are loose when fitted into place, this can be solved easily by dot punching the wheel. And one last tip, use the old bearings over the new one to hammer into place and don't hit it in the middle!
  21. Surely the last owner disconnected it because it had a problem, otherwise why would he bother
  22. If I go (weather dependant) then I'll be setting off from Macclesfield.
  23. Should get yourself a modern bike Stu, you just flick a switch on mine!
