Another way to remove a stud (if its long enough) is to use two nuts. Screw the first nut on, then the second nut up to the first. Then use a C-spanner to unscrew the first nut.

I think he'll stay at Yamaha. He'll never get paid as much as Rossi until he starts beating him consistantly, but Rossi is going to retire one day. Rossi will probably retire after he beats his younger brother in Motogp, which his brother isn't in yet. As for Hayden, I don't think he'll be in Motogp next year, he'd be best off going to WSB.

I'm willing to bet the engine will be good for 150000 miles, obviously you'd have to change the clutch plates once or twice and it'd need a new cam chain once in a while, but the engine will keep on going. Its the suspension, brakes and bearings that'll take some looking after. Also the fairing will start to fall apart etc... from the amount of times its removed or knocked. Personally I'd never buy a bike with more than 25-30k on the clock. Also the electronics (CDI) might fail and need replacing in that amount of mileage. I read about a courier in London once who used a ZXR750 and he'd put about 150000 miles on it.

Is the bike from Japan? Because if its from Germany for example, or I think Switzerland too, it could be restricted to 100bhp. Also Californian models are restricted too. Unfortunately I have no idea how they are restricted.

If its the Stan Stephens I'm thinking of, then he's knows exactly what he's doing, so I'd just let him get on with it. The Stan I'm thinking of is way down south, and used to be highly praised by Performance Bikes magazine 15-20 years ago!

Had loads of tyres plugged over the years and never had a single problem. On another note, my car had a slow puncture, so I used that slime stuff, and its worked a treat!

I've got an Abba stand and I think they're great but a little bit pricey. To find out if your bobbins are M6, M8 or M10 just measure the width of the hole.

It's got nothing to do with the BBC that it clashes with F1, and again, its not the BBC's fault that F1 is far bigger and watched by many more fans than Motogp. What I really don't understand though is how you can call the BBC when they actually show the qualifying, the 125's, 250's and have a indepth chat about the whole thing. They don't just show 1hr, they show over 7hrs. Heres this weekends schedule if you don't believe me:- Saturday 25 July Qualifying 1250-1600, BBC Red Button/online Sunday 26 July 125 and 250cc race 1220-1435, BBC Red Button/online Race 1500-1630, BBC One/online MotoGP Extra 1630-1700, BBC Red Button/online I might be wrong, but unlike Eurosport, you can watch it online for free.

Not too sure, but you might be right about the fuel, could be a trapped fuel line.

It could still be free for those that wish, but if they win, then it just goes down the leaderboard until we get to someone who's paid. Roy could still have the same list and we just highlight in red those that have paid.

I've had a chain snap that was a few weeks old, the nut holding the front sprocket had come loose, even though it had a locking washer on it. This caused the chain to jam and then snap. As for the lad who only had trainers and jeans on when his chain snapped, well personally I think it wouldn't have made much difference if he was wearing the best bike boots in the world, seeing as my chain went through the engine!

I think its a great idea, bit late for this year though, but next year I'd be up for it

I've watched Motogp/GP500 for donkey's years and there was quite a few years when it was just shown on Eurosport only. God forbid we ever have to go back to them days. The amount of times adverts completely spoiled the race was unbelievable. Yes I know they replay it most of the time, but not all the time.

If your trying to make it go quicker, then one of the best and cheapest ways with a two stroke is to de-carb the exhaust. Some have a metal baffle type thing that pull out of the exhaust and then you can just blow torch it clean. Others have none removable baffles, which you then need a special liquid to clean them inside. If you use the liquid, make sure you follow the instructions, its nasty stuff and also gets extremely hot!
